Is it correct the london game has been moved to second game of the afternoon because SHeffield are late arriving

Sky Sports are bloody useless and contemptuous of Championship RL. Cancelling subscription after today. Why should I have to do a load of detective work to find out why the match I've tuned in for is not on.

I heard it was moved to the second game of the day. But all web sites are ignorant of a delays, moves or anything. I cant even see anything on LB facebook page. SOme one somewhere must know something

I think it always was the second game - Keighley-York (Championship 1 Cup) was first.

It just shows what contempt the RFL have for London, by continuously putting us on early at either Magic or Summer Bash events.
I am pleased it all blew up in their faces this time. Next year perhaps we will be on later. Or perhaps Sky will do something.
We as travelling fans are rarely considered , so many times we have been messed about. Last season, remember not just a venue change, but date too.

Numbers difficult to say as everyone spread out 30-50 I suspect? But I may be wrong, I only did Saturday, good day!

It was good to see even a few faithful on Sunday, I think Blackpool really works, attendance on last year increase, but even more so than Magic Weekend most club supporters will only arrive and stay for their own teams game?

Which then raises the question, if our game is going to be probably the smallest crowd why would they change when we play? And let's be honest it was not a classic if a game was it?

Half of the games were not classics, Henderson for me is getting the side to play basic rugby and then expand a little, it was not that bad a game, seen many worse in Championship, look at Featherstone yesterday diabolical, lost the plot completely!

Featherstone result a real surprise, sat with Fev fans on Saturday, they were very confident. Good result for us though. I would have normally stayed for both days, and my son did, but I had to get back because of commitments on Monday.

Thought the bradford v Leigh game was good - though I hate to see Hock on a rugby pitch anywhere!

As to next week, snuff out Sammutt and we will win comfortably!

As for supporters, i don't believe,from what I saw that Whitehaven or Workington bought many more than us.
Blackpool is a good venue. Must say that the stewards were excellent. Not that there was too much for them to do.
Sat with a local guy who had never been to a RL game before, as a football fan he could not believe that fans from different clubs could sit together without trouble. Also the fact you could take your beer in the ground and drink whilst watching the game.
He thought he would only stay for a game or so but was there at the end.

Doncaster is now in the frame for Summer Bash 2017. Blackpool is too far to travel for some. Must have taken them all of two hours. How my heart bleeds.

Having spent the previous weekend in Doncaster it's certainly quite a lively town. The previous time I was there the police had a sniffer dog in use on Silver Street. I can only presume the RFL expect the northern fans to day trip as there's not much in the way of hotels. Once in the ground you are a bit stuck too, basically the ground is on a business estate a fair stomp from the town centre.

Decent enough ground but as a day/weekend out Blackpool seems a better bet to me.

Assume away bostwick if that's the sort of folk you generally hang around with.
Quite interested how anyone who was in that sort of place would have any knowledge of what sort of night out it would be though.
Just for benefit of doubt I worked in the area on two occasions.

Blackpool is a dump - but its a dump by the sea with loads of hotels and B&B. Also , having been for 2 years, the sun shines and Blackpool looks fantastic.

Silly question I know but are the RFL total idiots. This is the quickest way to kill the summer bashand alienate. Blackpool is a decent enough place, ok its a long way for London fans but so is Doncaster. Blackpool has facilities - Doncaster doesnt. Blackpool has night life - Doncaster doesnt. Blackpool is near the town and you can nip in and out of games - Doncaster you cant. OK the journey is also bit longer to Blackpool for northern fans but I am pretty convinced between the two they would probably choose Blackpool and enjoy a good social rugby weekend. No fan is going to drive backwards and forwards two days running especially when their team only plays on one day - if they drive they cant drink and if they stay hotels and B&B will be in very strong demand and could cause a problem with not being enough to go round. It's not a problem to the RFL numpties because no matter what their needs, players needs and SKY needs they will all be well and truely catered for it's just the poor fans who will be neglected during consultations. The fans and players deserve more than the offer of Doncaster.
