I did not see this coming, thought he may have gone at the end of last season, having not achieved what was expected of him and his team.
To go now having signed all those players, The RFL having changed the salary cap to allow it. Seems amazing.
Perhaps Mr Beaumont, who can not be any easy man to get along with, did not think he could do the job anymore,
He may well have some one lined up to replace him.
It must however have a negative effect on their team and its performance, which may help us being that we play them third up..

Even Joey Grima could coach Leigh with success.

I have no doubt that Leigh will probably be up in the top 4 mix like last season, but after such a long run undefeated in 14/15 to end the season as they did last year it showed that they have flaws. As far as we are concerned I hope Rowley going causes a bit of turmoil in the camp up their, we have them early on in the campaign, if we could exploit the position they are in and get a win round 3 then all the better!
