As much as the enthusiasm and determination of our current coach is to be applauded, his predecessor was also quite a passionate bloke too, but wholly incompetent and unable to coach the team and I have to say, on current form, Henderson is not the man to lead us to the heights of the middle 8's next year.

I believe that if we don't do something NOW, we will be a C1 club inside 12 months.

At least we'll have a ground fit for standard then.



I'm torn on Hendo as when he doesn't play we are totally rubbish.

Henderson is still learning his craft. He needs Nobby to step up and become head coach.....which in turn will attract a better standard of tough/gnarly player from the north which is what we'll need next year. I'm not blaming Henderson for our current state, but to get out of it we need to spend cash in the right places and I think a coach like Nobby will attract better players.

The most efficient person at the club is the one who "moderates' the Facebook page. A number of negative (no swearing or name calling just realistic) posts regarding the weekends stellar display and attendance were swiftly seen too.

I believe we need some continuity and so changing coach would be a mistake. Noble didn't seem to be at yesterday's game so not sure if his involvement is over or not. Let Henderson sort out who he is keeping. Buy in some championship forwards in particular, have a good close season and give next year a real go. If we are still at crowds of 250 by end of season, then I think it's over and pack up!

Why get rid of hendo? he is playing with Grimas team here pretty much. Let him build his own team.

Haven't people said that for the last decade? X coach failed because he was playing Y coach's team? Its been a downwards spiral for so long now.....there seems to be no way of breaking the losing culture. Maybe its a toxic brand? Scrap it and let something new emerge.

so back to coaches! despite some dire performances he is the best we have had for some while, lets try and keep some stability in playing areas as we are yet again re locating.

Commenting on your geographical setting is not slagging you off.
It's interesting with coaches non of the ones we have had appear to have been acceptable, this is despite the fact one is now coaching a very successful team in the north who currently head the table, we have the support of Brian noble who has a proven track record. TR returning was meant to be the saviour
Fwiw the previous coach I mentioned fell into the head coach role at his current club by accident.
So in my opinion we should be sticking with Hendo, the fact he has had to play is unfortunate, but all you need to do is look at long term injuries of key players and there is the crux of the matter.

If Hendo hadn't been playing our record this season would be much, much worse.

Mickey out of curiosity how is he the best we have had for some while? Whats the measure that underpins that statement?

I think we have to stick with Hendo. He really has been dropped in it this season. I feel that if he is able to assemble his own team and if it fails to perform next season, then he should go. But with the disaster that this season has been. He alone cannot carry the blame.
Certainly 2015 season will remain long in the memory, but not for the right reasons.

The measure is 50% ratio of wins to losses, when was the last time we had anywhere near that?
I do agree that some of those wins came about because he was on the park

Warrington fans I know say Tony Smith might be available next season, would we have him, or more realistically would he have us.

With a full time squad we should at least have made the top 4.

We might not even have had to move to a park in Ealing as a result.

i think a change of coach premature, not his squad, another turnaround with Grima leaving and players leaving at short notice caused serious disruption. i think he is worth another year? Smith or noble as a director/advisor maybe.......

Nobby - I'm not sure how positive his contribution has been to be honest

Before anyone starts, and I mean no disrespect to the part time Championship sides but top 4 was the minimum requirement this season wasn't it? Was for me.
