It looks like we'll have a new kit unveiled this week and possibly get it on sale for Xmas. We're also due to unveil a new website. The club appears keen to keep us up-to-date with training via facebook/twitter. Grima and the players are making positive noises. All this is a massive step forward IMO, not only on last winter but most other off-seasons that I can remember.

I applaud all that and, as the thread title says, on balance I'm positive. That said, wouldn't it be nice to see something on season tickets/memberships?

The presentation to the new Scholarship and Academy players held last night, with parents in attendance was the most professional I have seen from the club for a long time, held at The Village Hotel, one of the club's sponsors, not a lot of the top clubs in the North even do this, well done to everyone concerned.

And a host of other commercial partnerships and sponsorships to be announced this week, I believe.

Apropos season tickets my one for the Crusaders next season (which I paid for at the last game of last season) arrived this morning. Not stirring it, honest, guv

This points to the club having control over pricing, at least in the "posh" seats.....can anyone confirm that this was the case last year or not? if not, then maybe the general admission revenues might be being kept by the club too....?Are we paying RENT

4,860 was the 2006 average......slightly worse than halved.

This is almost as being ruthless next year on the park.....but then again, if "nothing has changed" and AK keeps the ticketing and residuals, who cares? If we are instead, now paying rent and keeping the Revenue, then I expect the club to go into overdrive trying to get the lapsed fans back.

2006 average depends on what you count as the attendance for the RU/RL double header v. Huddersfield. Using a reasonably realistic figure of 4,500, the season average works out at 4,360.

But you seem to have used the club's make-believe figure to support your argument.Indeed, Hudds attendances were always dire, including the dismal 1,800 near the end of our stay at The Valley. Partly because Hudds brought so few but also, methinks, because Hudds matches were invariably boring to watch.

I have used the published figure that the club were happy to use in 2006. Either way, take the dh away or not, the reduction of our fan base has gone swimmingly since.

Question why would a season ticket holder want to buy into the present scheme which links into Barnet FC? Would it not be better to have a season ticket that covers only the RL games?

I thought members could pay a 2 quid a month charge in October, November, December and January before returning to full ticketed access during the season. If you cancel your membership, you get stung with an admin fee again when you renew.

Because that's the way the landlord does business and let's face it......in terms of London broncos, we weren't in a strong position when it came to negotiations.

The Broncos membership only covers Broncos games. Not sure I really understand the point tbh.

You wont get into a Barnet game with a Broncos membership, just like I wont get into a Bronco game with my Barnet membership.

Whether you choose to pay monthly as a membership scheme or treat it as a season ticket and pay a year up front makes little difference. It gives you access to Broncos games plus 15% off merchandise and tickets if you choose to bring others along.

So have they changed the terms that were present when we first moved to Barnet?

Back to this again, it's same discussion we had last year, membership is basically a way of spreading payments over 12 months, does it mean paying less than on the day over the season, if the answer is yes then who cares what they call it.
