| Would that mean you would be moving to the Hive next season?it would be fantastic if you were.
Minimal costs and two investors points to an exciting 2014 for you lot and good news for RL.

League Express is reasonably reliable (in pre-Victorian times League Weekly would have been described as bum-fodder), so fingers crossed!

| amazing news if it happens, and the best thing to come out of the mess is that most of this terrible squad's now left so we can have a fresh start and a fresh senior squad.

| With the RFL running the academy! According to Ian Ramsdale, the problem is the current Bronco debts, if they can be cleared a deal can be done!

I think the "running of the academy" is only a guarantee, to ensure it is protected from cut backs! I do feel the debts will be cleared, the take over go through, and I still feel David Hughes will still invest.

| Good to hear some positive news finally, it may work out well for the club with traveling supporters wanting to check out the new ground. Just a question, but if its finally resolved would you see a influx of disgruntled supporters coming back to the club or has the damaged already been done?

Ill be officially un-disgruntled if this comes off. It's on the underground system, it's just off the M1.... but give it a few years and Im sure we'll have made a massive pig's ear of it.

| This is the scenario i envisaged when i heard about Anthony Kleanthous maybe getting involved. DH cant continue on his own but he is willing to put enough in with AK's help to keep the club going. Well done to DH for that i say. Lets hope it comes off and gives us a chance although all these objections by the residents dont look good.
If we do continue under this scenario i find it hard to believe we wont be relegated which IMO i dont think we can recover from. Time will tell..

If this comes off its great news, Barnet is not great for me, but i will live with that and renew season ticket. As for bringing back disgruntled, i think it all depemds on how it is handled. if its the pigs ear way we did the Harlequins, then the London Broncos re-branding - then no. if we do it positively and professionally, try and engage with the local population, and (to echo Gutterfax) if we do some decent marketing................................ then it could be a genuine re-birth.
We now need to do some recruitment, and again not like the last 2 years - huge pity Jamie S cannot stay, but that kind of player ( ageneral, a leader, someone with tactical nous etc) is a must. A couple of big hard props. i know we will have to look at the cheap end of the market - so this is a test for Tony Rea, his past track record was pretty good. Finally we need a young ambitious assisstant coach (one with some ideas around defence) to supplement Tony and potentially take over.
I feel more positive - just hope its not rose tinted specs.......................

I fear the disgruntled fans will only renew their ST's IF there is some VERY good recruitment and that is a big call when all he can probably do is recruit from the Aussie 2nd grade. They will not respond to more of the same we have had for the last two seasons.

| Sounding like positive news. I'll renew my ST if Barnet no matter what (other than dropping out of SL) but won't bother if at the Stoop.

| I'm afraid to say I don't share any of the positive vibes being generated by the gradual drip-feed of information we are getting.
At least the Broncos-to-Harlequins Griffin Park-The Stoop move was engineered with a degree of co-ordination and before season's end. The overriding emotion I sense from reading that club statement and Rea's post-match comments is panic. We're making people redundant off the field and we have about seven players remaining in the squad. How can that possibly be spun as a positive?
Mackay's brief was to grow a fanbase and secure a long term home in London. He's done neither, yet he will surely be about to claim credit for the move to Barnet under the direction of this Kleanthous character - when quite obviously no other option was available, either through our own incompetence or the impatience of other parties. It stinks.
What genuine SL or NRL quality player would agree to join a club with this much uncertainty hanging over them? I'm not seeing any long term thinking at work here, merely a mixture of convenient fudge and panic. How will the rent and revenue arrangement work at the Hive? Will we get kicked out for 8 weeks in the middle of summer? Does it even meet SL licensing criteria?
It's a total joke, and to be honest as the weeks go by I am more and more ashamed to be a Broncos supporter. The celebrations accompanying avoiding the wooden spoon are the thin end of the wedge for a squad that should have been achieving so much more.
