North Wales Crusaders are, to use an old Australian term, a 'chook raffle' outfit. Their next season's jersey is now available to pre-order. I know I tend to bang on a bit about them, but if they can manage it WHY THE HELL CAN'T WE ??!!!?

shocking suggestion!! lets stick with last years shirt! that way we all have one already and we can say we were oohh a whole 12 months ahead of the game for a change.
Maybe we can get some sponsor names on the replicas though

James Kirtley has been in business for 2 years and 3 months at MKK, which is his first job since retiring from Cricket.......they are essentially A BROKER............so we are paying them to click the ticket on the way over to the manufacturer and on the way back.....

With the sponsors on them (Selco etc) I didn't mind last years shirts in fairness

I'd be embarrassed taking last years effort to a charity shop.

I gave mine to a "cloth the Ethiopians" fund. They sent it back with a fiver.

My prediction is it will be exactly the same kit as last year, with accompanying spiel about trying to build a brand and an identity, so they need the same shirt. Real reason will be to use the same stuff again and save money.

For next season they now know the main sponsor of the club (which was the excuse for the delay last year)

Why dont they say to MKK or whoever will make the tops we want X tops in this colour and shape ready by Nov 1 2013.

Who gives a stuff about the dull uniform design. It's the teams performance that I really care about. A flash jersey isn't going to automatically give us a top 8 place.

Who says it was going to do that? What it brings is income to the club through sales allowing the club to buy players (contribute to) and then you play better. In theory!

Its also part of the club brand.

It would be interesting to know how many replica jerseys they sold last season. All I bought with club branding was a ball and a tee shirt. I would have got a mug too but there weren't any for sale.

I suspect the better the design/material etc the more they will sell- not to you of course but to others.

Alas, no matter what they offered for sale, if you live outside the UK you can't order anything. Windy shipped on my 2 T shirts, but a professional club should have a full functioning on-line shop.
