PMSL at the club using Survey Monkey though for what I thought was a serious decision.

If they are not sure, then why not ask the fans, it costs nowt and they may get some good ideas. I came up with four new names! I think Lister should lighten up, if it is as bad as he thinks it is gonna get, he might be happier at the Skolars!

I'm more used to seeing Survey Monkey being used by lazy students conducting trivial "primary" research for dissertations, not professional Rugby League clubs.

Would you rather a 7 week consultation period managed by BPM company, followed by 2 weeks design work from Satchi's, an email alert sent using Silverpop and the responses collated and interrogated by a data management and segmentation company?

What were they?


There wasnt any questions about including a sponsors name with our title, there was a story in last weeks league express that Fullers were interested in having us named London Pride, but they pulled out due to their connections with the rfu, or so the story goes. That name would have been a great one to explain to people at the weekend just gone by with the festival we just had in London!



Can anyone think of an appropriate sponsor who would give us a good name and sound good, and more importantly would anyone want it? In principle I wouldn't but if they started pumping a lot of cash into the club I won't care what we are called. Bring on the London Red Bulls

Bull5h17 story IMO......Fullers have no deal in place with the RFU......Greene King is the official beer of English RU....Fullers got their hands smacked a few years for alluding to an association.

Thames Valley Titans for me......staying at the Stoop with 2 on the road games each year...one in East London, one in somewhere further west.
Proper marketing........seriously, PROPER marketing behind it or don't bother...stay as Harlequins RL.

Perhaps some want a full Public Inquiry to report back in 12 months!!! LOL completed and voiced my views, I hope they will only take our opinions as a guide! People at THE TOP have to make the decisions this time with the RFL and we need to include such as Boris Johnson and the Assembly, we need to get treated seriously!

Do Quins RL have a Twitter feed? If so, is it on there?? I'd hate the future of this club to be decided by just a few fans on this forum.

Done, RL London or London Blitz - playing in black red and white. They don't need to go back to Fulham but they should make more use of the original colours and founding date 1980 IMO.

It's interesting that the training gear is black, red and white. I suggested London Ravens, playing in the old Fulham colours.

And staying at the Stoop!

My choices for name changes were as follows:

1. Lions of London
2. London Bronquins

I went for LONDON RAVENS! and to get away from Stoop as soon as we can, we Must have facilities even if sharing to generate revenue from bars and social events, not just rugby for 12 months a year.

You're quite simply the biggest fool imaginable.

I find it all a little pointless there is a 30 year history of Rugby League in the capital and frankly the name has never made a blind bit of difference to the crowds that come through the door. I’m no expert on RL but a sport that has 2 teams in administration the London team whatever it called not taking off surely needs to take a serious look at the whole game and how there can make it more attractive to a wider audience. I hope I wrong but it seems the name change is a total red herring but good luck with it anyway!?!

And I have not yet heard a single better venue suggested moving from the stoop would be a joke

That story goes back to the end of Fulham start of Crusaders days.

We should certainly stay at the Stoop. Happy with a name change though. It would guarantee a better looking kit for a start!

The main reason they should change the name is because it causes confusion.
