Is he still with you lot or back with us? i noticed he returned to Quins last week due to us playing in the final which he wasnt entered in time for. He's been excellent during his loan spell and we would love him back, not sure why he isnt featuring for Quins but hopefully he can return.

Anybody know anything?

Dont think he plays for us as he doesn't make any sort of impact coming of the bench.
Also we think he might of fallen out with BMc.

He certainly didn't play on Saturday but I'm sure his name was in the pre-match squad of 19.

He's a relatively experienced Superleague player yet I don't think he's appeared at all in the first team this year, while we've sometimes used raw youngsters or loan signings instead, so clearly out of favour to put it mildly and not up for a contract renewal.

He was in the squad, but didn't play. I don't think he is a Super League standard player to be honest.

He was playing for the reserves on Saturday

He played about 15 mins against Saints earlier this year.

I think you've probably put your finger on it when you suggest that he may have fallen out with Brian McDermott.

In my opinion, he deserves to work with a coach who really appreciates his potential and can help exploit his talents to the full.

He's absolutely terrible, stop trying to gloss it over, its shameful.

With my limited knowledge of RL even I could tell he was poor. Never rated him. Never will.

We'll have him back for the rest of the season then yeh?

According to the club site, Jon has joined Widnes again for another month starting today.

Second row Jonny Grayshon, who played for Harlequins RL reserve side last weekend, has returned to the Vikings on loan for the remainder of the season.

O'Connor added, "Jonny's two appearances for us have shown the type of player he is and I would like to thanks ‘Quins Head Coach Brian McDermott for allowing him to return to the Stobart Stadium, Halton in a deal which will undoubtedly benefit both parties."

I guess this loan has improved the average strength of both squads

After watching him play for us, I've wasted enough time on him already.

I'm not questioning your impression of Jon Grayshon in any way. However, I do remember a home game last season when Brian McDermott brought Jon Grayshon on from the bench and then took him off after less than five minutes on the field, after he dropped the ball once.

You may say, "Good call by the Coach. Take him off."

However, I found myself wondering if this was the ideal way to build a player's confidence.

Hopefully, Jon Grayshon will be fare better at Widnes.

The only time I met Jon outside of the stoop was in the Q to get into Oceania, i was so impressed with his 'babe flow' he was always Jonny Five Hands from then on in ..... his spares were well decent!
