The Sky proposed deal is very bad news for SL/RL. Can anyone see a better deal elsewhere or a deal for the Championship? Not sure who the advisors are that the RL appointed, who say the deal is no good - can’t see another coming along.

The Beeb are happy with their little package, ITV aren't interested, Ch4 'prolly don't know what RL is and FIVE, well FIVE a) 'prolly have less money than SKY and be can't find anything much beyond the M25. BTSport is run by ex-public school boys, so may offer Wigan a gauranteed Premiership place if they jump codes. Most other channels show no sport at all anyways, so we are kinda left with whatever SKY think it's worth, and as I said before, I'm stunned it's as much as it is in the current climate.

Yep, and look what happened to the BDO. It went into liquidation in September 2020.
