Quote ="Honkytonk"It matters to me. Rightly or wrongly my expectations of the Broncos off the field are pretty low. Is it not reasonable for me to not want to commit to anything until the club can provide more details?? Rumours of part time, players leaving, no incoming news, where will we be even playing?? Am I expected to go to West London or East London next season. In truth, no, ive got no real desire to see a part time Broncos side floating around the championship. I know people will point to Fev, but as it stands they have never made SL (Neither has any other PT side). And if they did, what would happen, suddenly become FT overnight, cause Im pretty sure they would not be allowed PT in SL. Ive said previously my enthusiasm for Broncos and RL in general in waining and pretty low. Some on here will agree, its not easy being a Broncos fan, but yeah what the club has to say about its future could be make or break for me.
I hope it works out with the SC, why wouldnt I, but im not going to just blindly join until the club can provide answers to the direction it is going in'"
Can I ask you a question regarding signing players? Can you explain the business sense in signing players to add to the 14 we already have on contracts when we have absolutely no idea when the next season will start, if at all? No idea, not even a clue. And then to compound that even our best guess at when it will start does not guarantee crowds. Before anyone mentions central funding then lets just remember we also have coaching staff, medical staff, office staff, Academy Players and Staff, rent, other regular bills etc. Central funding does not even begin to cover the half of it and the furlough scheme ends soon. So what do we do? Ask David to bank roll a load of new signings? Seems to be the usual response to everything, just ask David to pay, he is good for it.
Anyone signing players at the moment is simply adding to their expenses without any guarantee of income for the next 6 months.
Does this seem like a good way to run a business in order to secure its long term future to you?
If a shop cannot guarantee any customers being allowed in for 6 months minimum and it has half of the shelves empty would you suggest the smart business decision is to spend money you have not got on more stock to sit there doing nothing at great cost to yourself or would you simply wait until you have a definite opening time and then go to the wholesaler and fill your shop?
I do find that the people using this forum have a much better standard of conversation, Broncos fans should take a look, I much prefer reading these guys - https://www.totalrl.com/forums/index.ph ... n-shelved/

Four months on from winning and still no prize.'"
Hi there.
I find it very strange that you have been waiting four months for a lottery win payment, I have checked the spreadsheet and nobody is waiting any longer than since November, which I do accept is a decent length of time to wait, however we have been really busy with the SL bid and various other things at the club.
Please email me, it can be sorted really quickly and really easily. If you have been waiting four months then please just send me an email now and I can verify it within minutes of getting the email.

That is a damming post. I'm surprised in one sense but not in another. I'm not sure the scope of the club was ever laid out nor any meaningful measurables set (certainly not publicly published); therefore it would always be open to 'personality'. That would therefore be doomed to failure.
Even today i just cant think what the SC could realistically offer. Away match coaches, social events,(we've had both of them pre SC) after that i'm lost. Its such a small supporter base.

| I have to say that I think the whole Supporters Club thing has been handled very badly. The fact the the club did not have the courtesy to communicate its intentions to the LBSA, prior to the announcement of its formation, was at least, rather poor.
I decided from the onset not to get involved and am glad having read what you have said Wantawin, that I have done so.
I too have followed the club for many years and the SC joins a long line of things that the club have done to upset the fans. The dwindling number of fans brings proof of this.
What is more the officers of the club are very thin skinned, as you have found out. Criticism is taken badly. Can you imagine if we started a fanzine, how well that would go down.
Certainly someone needs to get a grip of this side of the club, before more loyal fans join the exodus.
I might add that very recently I won a prize in the LBSA 100 club. The prize money was made available to me the very same day.

Within a week of the first committee meeting a consitution was written and agreed, which to my knowledge has never been published. As I left the committee back at the beginning of November, I am not sure if the constitution is being followed as you require 5 committee members to form a quorum, I do not think there are 5 committee members. I will say the minutes of the first committee meeting did state the aim of the supporters club and the aim was then published in the first (and only?) news letter.
