I'm not getting carried away. I'm simply pointing out that with one super league team much weaker than the rest this year, there is a golden incentive for an ambitious championship club to step up. I believe that it is either Bradford or ourselves, Leigh are imploding.

Personally I would hope this year we make the middle 8s altho we have some real tests coming up before we show our real colours. In reality there is a big gap between the SL and championship. Wakey are going through the mill at the moment and yes maybe the signs are on the door that they are maybe not going to cut it this year and we could see a change. Are we in the mix hmm mm as folk say early days let's get walking before we sprint, but hey sport is all about dreams of the future

Maybe I am cynical, or maybe I've been a LB supporter too many years (only since 2000 so baby compared to others on this forum), but I'm not even thinking about anything at this time other than getting into the middle 8's.

Once and only once we are in the 8's (or almost certain to be there), I'll then start to speculate, but all it takes is us losing our next 3 games, and we are looking mid table again.

At the moment we are winning close games, and grinding out the 2 points. Need to keep doing that, get into may with 9 or so wins under our belt, and I will then start to believe. But its far to early for me to think about mid 8's

Accept all the caution of course, but the good news is the team have nowhere near hit their straps yet, and we have Mr Eliab to come. Also feel summer weather will help the team no end

Fair enough, Wakey could be the SL equivalent of us a few seasons ago so if we could engineer ourselves the opportunity to face them in a one off game, who knows? Still very early days though eh?
