Dan mate it used to take me longer to get from Hammersmith to Charlton that it did wiltshire to Hammersmith which was twice the distance.
Sticking up for the Salford fans again, actually when ya look ar it New stadium is a fair distance from old ground and think only on one bus route think London folk forget how much transport is available round the city
I agree with DSWG we have a five hour round trip if we use public transport and a three hour round trip if we drive and we only live 16 miles away. It's not easy being a Bronco fan and I doubt many other teams fans would travel the way Bronco fans do just to see their beloved team. We did every home game and used to do every away game until finances and personal circumstances prevented going away every other week but when they moved to the Hive we missed quiet a few games as Sunday is a really hard day for us due to personal family ties and the length of time it takes to watch 80 min of rugby. Our commitments cannot be moved to another day and the time it takes to go to a game means we miss out a lot. I admire all the fans who go through it every week to watch the team we know the commitment it takes as we did it for our first 19 years of Broncos games we have struggled for the last two years but we wont give up we will be there as and when we can. Keep the faith.
25 min walk to the station. Standing on the platform waiting for the train. Getting off the train and crossing to another station / underground, waiting for another train - its not always off one train and onto another immediately. Getting off the train and walking to the ground. Hence not difficult to take so long and especially when you are an older person and don't have the speed of youth. Think before you speak.
