Apologies for being a pessimist, but I'd like us to be realistic about what we can expect from a player who has not played first grade RL since 2011, and appears to have spent much of 2012 and 2013 injured.
Part of the problem in the past is we have (and I am as guilty of this as anyone) expected the players coming over from Australia to carry the team. With a couple of notable exceptions (e.g. Soward), they haven't.

A quick glance at the sporting landscape of South Africa, together with a demographic profiling of the ex-pat South Africans in the capita city would point to Rugby Union being part of their 'leisure time' activity.
Not sure if the Tel Aviv Rhinos are as big a national draw0card as the Natal Sharks.....
Welcome Ben "there only one "F" in Farrar.....a real opportunity for you to make a name for yourself is on the table in the capital......at half, centre, wing or FB, this is the season that legends can be discovered.
Bring on the Bradford Bills........I fancy steak.....RARE!'"
South Africans indeed do love their Rugby Union, yet they still set up this Community idea, when they must be getting a good fair walk ins of Saffas during match day. We don't have that luxury unfortunately, so would need to push all communities and maybe expat Aussies and Kiwis in the area...
Yeh, can't wait for Farrar to play. That other lad we got from St.George last year weren't too shabby n'all

Quote="RLLDN"Lol, don't knock it till you've tried it!....Any thinking outside the box by Broncos is a good thing I reckon. Sarries done it with a South African night to entice the Saffa followers of Sarries around the area not so long ago'"
I seem to recall various initiatives at the Stoop, when Crusaders played against Natal (I think) at Twickenham because of the earthquake there was an offer to come to our game against Hull before hand for very little. it was all abit chaotic as Natal are black and white colours as well. there was also get in for a fiver or something like that wearing your teams football shirt during either the World Cup or euros with the England match on the screens after.
Can anyone confirmed they arrived Ok. With our luck they could have changed flights at Bangkok and decided they prefered the delights of Pat Pong instead.
