I'm sure I've heard in the past that when a player gets paid off his wages still count towards the cap. And I can't see the likes of Witt and Rodney walking away from their contracts without some kind of pay off, they're not exactly going to be inundated with clubs trying to sign them.

IIRC Robertson, Witt, Rodney, Grady and Bishay were still under contract. Bishay seems Aussie-bound.

By God there is some rubbish there. Who the hell signed that lot.

Just because we are on the fixture list doesn't mean we are playing next year, Its easy to change a name on the list and there is probably already a team in the background waiting to jump into dead mens shoes. Also I thought it was posted on here Dixon has gone to Salford or is that another rumour. Loads of them flying around due to lack of factual contact with fans by the club. Seems the only person left is the one who should have been first out of the door. DH has a lot to answer for keeping the main cause of the downfall of the club andallowing hard workers and talent to go i.e. Phil Jones

If a club goes into administration contracts are effectively null and void. With the vast majority of our debt owed to David a pre packaged administration may be one possible explanation? Stress the word possible, I have no knowledge of anything like that happening.
