Good post. The crux of the problem is that the club find it hard enough successfully communicating with its own supporters, never mind new ones. Knowing how to access them is impossible. Changes are needed at the highest level as currently we simply don't have the calibre of staff to run and sell the club properly.
thanks that would be a dream job, but no cricketing pettigree to speak of!
ok so northerners in london, anzac's, local juniours have been tried obviously the approach wasnt well thought out enough or push not sustained enough... back to the drawing board.
what about the french angle for catalans game in london? marketing to existing fans, passive tv whatching fans in london? promoting things in your own team eg luke dorn's 100 game, or julien rinaldi's final game, battle to avoid wooden spoon, make play offs etc etc
the thing that makes me certain it's possible is on occasion the london super league side has got decent crowds and results... probly thinking of the richard branson/challenge cup final apperance type era tho.
also the fact that there are super league viewers on sky from the area and reasonable amount of people in london who follow the code to some degree.
if bronco's could improve in the front office and on the field. get better suppourt from rfl, sky, local government theyd be very successfull and it benefits the code itself next minute huddersfield, salford, etc picking up better sponsors as the product has a proven national profile and bussiness and the media want to buy into it... gonna take hard work tho.
good luck for next season bronco's good to see you thrash warrington in a bar here in melbourne i was the only one whatching it with no sound but im a league fan.... and congrats on avoiding the wooden spoon as well
