I was at the game, me, a clueless Southerner, travelled all over the world watching RL, have watched over 600 games, yes six hundred games, the conditions were a leveller on Sunday, rain, slope and really pride did a good thing to Batley, Broncos, were horrified by the day out, they just got on with it and won, Batley were not cheated out of the game, they just lost a close game, simple.
Even, if you lament the poor French ref, Mr Alibert, did he really deserve the abuse, he took at the end of the game, some really shameful batley folk, took more pride in ref baiting, than actually clapping off the there team.
WITHOUT THE REF'S, THERE WILL BE NO GAME LEFT TO WATCH, WHO WOULD WANT TO DO IT..????
Batley deserve real credit for the performance they put in, but they could not just go the extra mile to win game, they did themselves proud, its never gonna be a case of northern/southern bashing etc, reality check, game comes first, WE ARE ALL IN IT TOGETHER'"
