Bottom line, our coach is inexperienced and inept, our forwards are lightweight and ineffective, our half backs are ponderous, ineffective and lack quality, our backs are ponderous, predictable and error prone, the team as a whole lacks discipline and composure, the young local players are nowhere near SL standard and nowhere near on a par with their northern equivalents; I remain totally unconvinced by the loan arrangements and what's worse there seems little chance of improvement from now to seasons end. The strangest thing is, I am not sure why it's taken me the best part of half a season to come to this overwhelming conclusion ! 42-0 at half time last night says it all really.
As a club, our potential is immense, but to exploit this potential, we need an exceptional back of house operation and a competitive, winning side on the park and I doubt these will ever be realised, certainly not by the end of the next SL franchise process.'"
