But we have had very little to cheer. Very little to get passionate about. When the game has been exciting, when the players put in the performance the vocals have been very loud. I don't think there is a person on this forum, or indeed many fans who complain for the sake of it, we complain and moan and graon because we are passionate about RL and are not seeing a performance and effort worthy of a London team. We want the team to do well, we will always be there for the team and buy our season tickets. replica shorts and other goodies and we will stand and cheer but we will not always be happy and will not always be vocal. I personally will cheer thorughout the game , clap and sing, applaud the team off the pitch everytime I see a performance worthy of it win or lose but I refuse to applaud a team off the pitch or stand up and clap and cheer when the team don't turn up and appear to show no commitment. It's a two way thing if the team give 100% every game so will the fans regardless of the score.

My reaction to Latham taking the press conference was that it was to avoid the inevitable questions about BM and the Bradford job, but if he also did the coach's piece in the programme maybe BM's off after all.

McDermott has failed over the past four years with positions 7, 9, 9, 11 and 13 illustrating the decline. Worse than his signings have been his re-signings and random punts including players in decline e.g. Gafa, Robinson, Grayshon, James, Gardner, Nanyn, Barker etc plus many who have not turned up. He has failed his job interview and he is back with us. Woe for us. There are no fors in keeping him so please don't pretend there are - the law of averages means one win in five and the odd good signing

He's building a competitive squad of British players unlike most SL Clubs, I'm glad Mac is staying with you guy's as I think there is massive unfinished business at Quins. You have the potential in the next 5 years to be a regular top 4 SL side. Once the crowds improve the whole momentum will start swinging in your favour. Quins for the top with a British squad and a good spattering of local lads in the team. Once you can get a regular 7000+ through the door you'll be a match for anyone. I think the Quins RL develoement programme and youth set up is great. Mac can only add quality to the set up.

Competitive? We have won 7 games out of the last 32 over a 12 month period. The reason we have so many English players is that McDermott buys old players who are injured most of the time. He paid big money for Robinson and Williamson both on two year deals. Robinson played 15 times, I bet Williamson has not many more. Probably about 1 season of appearances although paid for 4 seasons between them. Dorn (and Purdham) missed three months after the silly sod took them on an Arctic bootcamp preseason and they fell over on their shoulders. Quins canned a talkback as it was too dangerous to travel but good old Mac he knows best. Howell, Temata and Randall are injured and arguably all 3 have been injury prone over the past 12 months. It would not surprise me if the players trained like Rocky Balboa given the amount of injuries we have. The talent is mainly under 18 like Sarginson and Bishay but the guys between 19 and 22 are largely unplayed or unplayable e.g. Williams, May etc. Let's give em a good manager before we lose another Joe Mbu, Louie or Worrincy. Don't be daft about pretend positives. 4 home wins in 2009 and 5 total wins in 2010.
