I agree re the attendance. For me there was considerably more than 3,700 present. I also thought the young lads did really well. Bolger is really impressing and I thought Martyn Smith at dummy half was excellent when he came on. His distribution was better than several of the first grade set up.

Wouldn't be too critical of any of the young lads trying to shine in those conditions. Can't fault the effort they showed and i would like to see one or two given a chance on a 'summer' pitch when injuries call for it. I would much rather give one of these lads a chance in his true position than get a 1st team regular to switch from his true position to a totally unfamiliar one.

I thought I was hallucinating when he made that break for our first try.

Hopefully he's one of these players who is far better in his second season.
