It's not about 1 game though is it. It's the precedent thats set. Anyone over the age of 12 could realise that.

Home games are completely different, but for our fans traveling 300 odd miles and then watching us put in a terrible performance, it isn't worth our fans doing it at all, and we dont deserve it, so why cant the players even show they feel sorry?

The main problem was that the players did not seem to mind being flogged every week. That is a big problem. You can tell that it does hurt Brian but why didn't the players get it? It points to (a) trouble in the camp or (b) they didn't want to play for him. Considering we were on the cusp of qualifying for the play-offs it was all very odd and no-one has come up with a satisfactory explanation. I dread to think what will happed if we start the season the way we finished it. It was the first season for a long time that I couldn't wait to finish (you could probably say that for the players as well!). The fact that Bill Peden has gone points to one of my theories that he was flogging them in training and they were knackered by July! Still after the 4 nations I can't wait for more punishment!

I do sympathise and believe me before 2004 being a Leeds fan I knew a lot about watching a team lose!
