Was looking forward to the 30th aniv. but lost heart after the disgraceful standards of the '09 season.
So would quitely suggest that 5000+ average gate and 6th+ finish is pie in the sky and always will be as long as we continue tobe linked to a club who cheat & lie in order to 'win'........the Twickenham Stoop is not the right location for rugby league, never has been and never will be.
Would rather see the London based SuperLeague franchise move in with a lower level C1/C2 football club than remain tied - and tarred - with the dreadful Harlequins brand.
However, that's not my problem or concern as can afford to watch good rugby league elsewhere be it in France or over the next three weeks down in Oz.
While 'Gutterfax' has loads of worthy ideas and suggestions it's all a waste of time as Chairman Hughes and his 'board' are unable to invest YET equally unwilling or should that be unable to bring in 'new' money.

No but I bet he has a dart board with Gutters face on it!

He'd need to get in line.....and as shocking as this may seem, it's a pretty long line
'...and I have no doubt at all that in 5 years time, we will see a Harlequins Rugby League team take the field with LMS as Skipper and 10 or more cockneys on the pitch with a couple of really big star names...and a crowd average of 7,500+ ......keep the faith.'
You were so, so close. Just the one small typo re the crowd average.
Seriously tho', doesn't all that seem like a lifetime ago - and we were thinking how bad things were then...
Good to see your 20 point plan again. I'd forgotten how amazing it sounded. Simple (mostly), direct and full of common sense. It's probably too late now, but well done.
