I'd call it frustrating rugby.

I'd take boring wins.
Champagne Rugby would be lost on new fans.

Im not sure what boring rugby is. There's good rugby and there's dumb rugby. We play a lot of dumb rugby. I like a physical forward battle backed up by a good kick and chase, kicks in goal, repeat sets etc. I also like expansive rugby,clean breaks, quick hands. I dont like flat uninspired attacks, no supporting the ball carrier, endless bad kicks, lazy chases, dropped ball etc.

As I do with any sport, I love to see matches where the result is in doubt until the closing moments. Too many games this season have been over before half time.

Entertaining and close is better than boring and close, but I would take either over anything, win or lose, that is one sided.

What can be better than sending a crowd home on the back of a thrilling last minute victory?
