You must have wasted a large amount of money going to games with eyesight that poor.
Mine is not perfect but sat in back of the North stand I saw the teams pefectly.
Perhaps you were confusing the Quins team with the workmen drinking tea on the side!!!

Actually, the teams have to follow the kit directives given by the RFL, and the match referee makes the final decision on whether kits clash or not in accordance with the Operational rules.

Were they- I must have been at a different match. Unless you count shadows from the stands

I'm up north for our match at Odsal on Sunday and was thinking of taking in Leeds v Warrington on the Saturday evening. Presumably I can look forward to both teams playing in variations of blue & yellow hoops with the ref wearing white. Or perhaps both teams will be in a predominantly white kit witth the ref in orange? I can hardly wait to find out!

The home team willl play in their primary ('home') kit, the away team will play in their ('away') alternate kit, unless there is a clear kit clash, for example Friday night where the predominant colour of Leeds' alternate kit was white, directly clashing with Wigan's primary kit. As far as I could see on Sunday, there was no clash whatsoever between the Quins' kit and Saints' kit, the player's were clearly distinguishable.
