There were a couple behind us who were first timers. They knew nothing about RL yet somehow found out about the game as they lived nearby. They even did a bit of their own research and were well aware of our plight. Incredible eh.

However, TR put out an uncompetitive squad who were well beaten by opposition that was clearly of a different class, and so the long downward slide commenced. |

My post was in direct response to the comment about the number of Barnet FC fans in attendance. The opening game of the season in a new ground is relevant, regardless of the farcical goings on since September last year. Barnet fans (or Quins in 2006 when we'd come out of administration at the end of the 05 season) were invited to come and see something new.....they were offered tickets for a fiver and turned up in their "dozens".
Polish the turd all you like, just don't expect it to shine! |
