Fact facts, some people aren't going to trawl over London for the sole reason of watching RL in a pub.

DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE IS GOING......BUT THE SKOLARS HAVE A FRIGGIN CHEEK (in my opinion that is!).

Why would the club, in the same week the volunteer group has been disbanded for the rest of this season (do not get me started on that one!!!!!!!!), Pander to a request that directly opposes the clubs previous hard work in getting a pub to show the game and put on nibbles?
You really couldn't make it up


What really gets me is that the skolars (and I will still hold my tongue on names) dismissed the chance to play a real double header at the stoop and raise EXTRA REVENUE THE SOOOOOOO OBVIOUSLY NEED just so they could have their old boys reunion in north London on the CCup eve!

Sorry.........but the cheek to ask to get this on the club site is bad.......but the fact the club did just smacks of the left hand not knowing what the right one is up to



BTW.......Has anyone else noted that the club prize top prize in the programme has been £25,00 (note the missing digit) since day one of the season?....that's 9 issues of the programme with the same TYPO.........smacks of a slapshod amateur and uncaring attitude in certain areas at TW2 towers

Apathy.....one of the reasons [uThe Club[/u has struggled to attract fans, sponsors, corporates....etc...etc....over the years.

As for the Skolars Pub.......good luck to all who go.

I was under the impression that originally the Skolars pub offer had no mention of food at all. Therefore you get the impression that London Skolars "found out" about the offer at the Bloomsbury and tried to trump it. The fact that we are advertising it is bloody ridiculous, but exactly what I would expect from our amateurish commercial and marketing department.

Stop being such drama queens. Skolars had put this up on a different thread a while ago. There are plenty of supporters in North London who will go there and not schlep across half of London to watch the game.

Absolutely. Drama queen indeed. I can't see how a few fans electing to go to the Skolars rather than the "Quins boozer" is going to bring the club to its knees

You can't how blind are you, did you not realise a few fans turning up and paying money to a pub landlady with a black eye is the salvation of Quins RL ........

I see no problem whatsoever in Quins advertising the Skolars on their site.

I know people that would go to the Skolars and not the Bloomsbury, purely for geographical reasons (and vice-versa, come to that).

I think we need to strengthen our ties with all the London clubs, as surely this all helps to raise the profile of RL in London.
