If somebody would have purposely gone into a player with the intent of hurting them with their knees then it WOULD have been picked up and cited by the RFL and not just a handful of bitter, clueless Harlequins supporters.

I suggest you watch the replay of the incident on Sky Sports.......Knees and elbows were used whilst the player lay on the ground.
Not condoning anything and fully expect a well deserved ban, but "afters" from Wigan players and tompkins himself were worthy of further investigation. Not saying they would get bans (If I'd been elbowed in the face I'd go nuts too) but still needs to be addressed. Remember, we lost a fair few players last year to an "after initial altercation" ruling....one rule for us, one for the salary cap cheats i suppose

I have and there's no intent to harm Howell with his elbow/knees at all, it was just a grapple and handbags on the floor.

If it was deemed that Tomkins did go to strike Howell with the knee/elbow then it would and should have been cited.

Tomkins is a petulant little w@nker in the mould of a certain Mr Briers and will get found out in future. He even decided to mouth off to Ganson and got binned for it........how arrogant do you need to be to try and take on the biggest egoed ref in SL?
He was hit with a dangerous and nasty shot, but he reacted in a way that was just as dangerous....and IMO it warranted a reversal of the penalty. Howell had to go though........and AGAIN..........every one of the handful agree on that. Deflect all you like, but the video evidence CLEARLY SHOWS foul play against Howell.

Save your breath mate, nothing bad can be said against anything Wigan while Alex is around, club man through and through is Alex, I do hope they pay him well.
