The thing about our players that you have obviously missed is that they are adaptable into different positions. Brown can play at Stand off and centre. Robbo at hooker and scrum half and Cudjoe Full back, centre and wing, Lunt at Loose Forward and Hooker. That is alot to do with their selection. With 24 players only the more cover you have in those positions the better.

That's why we were still winning when we had 7 or 8 first teamers out.

On one hand Wiganers are claiming it a success for Wiganers academy that these two ex-wiganers have been picked and other bag them and call them average. These players have become an awful lot better under the guidance of Nathan , Paul and Bumper.

Missed nothing they are average i'll give you kev brown has got better but lets face it he couldn't get any worse

Lunt is a decent player dont think i've seen him play loose but he's got a very good rugby brain on him he will go far in the game

Cudjoe is fast thats it i've seen a few times he's cracked under pressure he's not in the top 5 wingers in sl and his selection along with brown,robinson and griffin just shows we have no depth at all (i know the abuse will come for this) but these 4 should be nowhere near a tour down under

Goulding was cast aside to Salford earlier this season. He's a good enough finisher but not in the same league as Cudjoe. Wiganers didn't even rate him until the last few games.

Brown and Robinson you are wrong on. They were cast aside in favour of a load of overpaid aussies. The club nearly got relegated as a result and is only just getting back on it's feet. In the right Wigan team they could have been legends. They are two of the best players in superleague. Wigan even tried to re sign Brown a few months ago realising their monumental error.

Briscoe and Hall are good players but so are all the Hudds lads. As a Season ticket holder at CP and the DW for many years now living over the pennines I would say too many Pooles meat and potato pies have clouded your powers of reasoning.

Cudjoe got his plane ticket on the basis that when it mattered against Wigan and Warrington he was there, he had the skill to be in the right place to take the ball and the try. Add to this that his defence is excellent. He kept Pat Richards quiet in our game.

The fact you are still here discussing these players is testimony to you after inside_man who came on here 'not to bag' then wound people up and then posted the link onto the Wigan forum after three days of niggling.

I would expect he's more likely to be abused than yourself. You're just his pawn!

I didn't mean to wind you up, genuinely. Like I said before I think Cudjoe, Lunt, Griffin and Brown deserve to be in the squad. But out of them I think only Brown deserves to play some sort of role.

And if I can be serious for a moment I should advise all Huddersfield forum members to know what you're letting yourselves in for playing with these tiddlers. As for the Lads who left Wigan.
Robbo went to Salford on a better deal than Wigan offered him!
Brown was struggling in a struggling team. After he burst onto the scene people thought he could carry the team but the pressure was to much for a young lad. Moving to Huddersfield was a good move for him and the club. He came into an situation were he didnt have pressure on him and could enjoy his rugby. Hes now developed his game gained experience and huddersfield and England are seeing it. Staying at Wigan would have ruined his talent but as said before had he come through at a different time could have seen him become a star at Wigan.

I personally think Lockers is a better 2nd rower than 13 but not better than Ellis or Burgess.

Fielden probably wont play sat but think he will be in the best 17.
If he does and Morley and Graham are in who would you pick Griffin or Crabtree?

If Sam and Joel had 15 brothers we'd still get our a4ses kicked, kidda. Trying to blame Robbo & Brown before a ball is kicked is a waste of time and, to the more enlightened, a bit silly.

Have we ever won a series for the last 40 years ???. These lads can`t do any worse than previous classy sides who have gone before, therefore they are in a win,win situation. They are not expected to win owt, and if they do it will be a bonus.
