Brierley took the ball in his very first carry after about 3 minutes, and we scored the next play!!

Agree re Wakeman and Clough though, they both look about a half stone overweight, and our intensity noticeably drops when they replace Seb and Taai.

But i am well aware we put in a couple of stints of extremely good defense, and I'm as glad as anyone that we won. I await code 13 explaining to us about the bad reffing and the obstuctions and offsides that led to Wakey scoring a length of the field try, or was it just luck that he ran through half of the team like they were privet trees.

People are just giving their views, they are as valid as anyone else's, I just don't understand why some people get so wound up about it, Would it be better if everyone came on once a week and said We were Wonderfull or we were unlucky, depending whether we won or lost.

8-0 up , should have been 12-0 but brough's kicking is leaving alot to be desired at the moment, cost us v salford and almost again lastnight, we was in control at that point but them shakefield got on top and i expected them to go on and win the game

but stone must have given them a rollicking at half time and he got a great response!

second half was all giants, great grit and determination, stone said last week salford wanted it more but this time we did and that was good to see.

brough in the end came up with abit of magic with a great try for jerry. jerry was walking wounded lastnight too.

ikahihifo is in amazing form at the moment, unstoppable as is taai and leeming...the last named played 80mins at hooker!

we need more from brierley... and brough had a poor game really too, letting us down abit these two, the forwards are laying the platform

think shakefield are actually a decent outfit nowadays so dont agree with comments that we would have lost to a decent team

they were completing at 90% first half but that dropped to 70% second half

they were in control but the credit has to go to our players who turned it around with mega determination and grit

agree about wakeman and clough not producing the goods at the mo, wakeman though hasnt had a pre season so people need to remember this and he will need time, not to mention being in a new country.

brierley disappointing me at moment

A few having a pop at Brierley, but is he playing to Stones instructions. He was the only one backing up Brough`s break. I believe he should be backing up Leemings scoots or an offloading prop, but if he is sticking to Stones game plan then we can`t bag him. Just remember his last seasons tries at Wigan, and keeping us out of the million pound game. And we are only in game 3 so let`s be patient.

For me brierley has done little wrong- he's not stood out but neither has he for the wrong reasons

not just brierley, i think both half backs are letting us down at the moment, maybe we arent using brierley correctly..

some of our last play kicks are woeful and putting too much pressure on ourselves

brough nearly cost us the game friday, then again he won it with some magic too but wont get away with it that often, like we didnt v salford and those missed goal kicks, hope he has some kicking practise this week!

brough actually went into the top 10 all time scoring list friday too

I think all teams are trying to adapt to the 7 play set for kicking dead, give it a few weeks and all teams will be better on the last.

That's probably because like a lot more incidents' he missed it, unfortunately for your club the panel won't, and before you kick off it won't make the slightest difference to Wakefield as we won't be playing you next week, so a ban will only benefit Hull.

Incident was on report because of injury. When it happened, it was Ta'ai who raised his hand up and alerted the ref to the injury and no player from Wakefield saw anything untoward to evoke an immediate reaction. The same level of protection is offered to both teams. Happy for it to be reviewed on that basis.

Hull have two players cited - Taylor and Watts.

spear tackle on mcgillvary should have been put on report too

taai one game ban i think the outcome will be.

Leeming made 56 tackles (missed 4) in that game and over 100 metres with an average of 9 metres a carry!
Sam wood 33 tackles (missed 5) 2 tries, average 8 metres a carry and three clean breaks

Going to ground and wasn't lifted so penalty was sufficient on report would have been a waste of time. Not sure if will get 1 as they may look at injuries sustained and take into consideration. Hull Kr player got matches added as a result of injuries last year.

Exactly why we need to be patent jools, We are in a rebuilding process, they need time to settle in , I personally will be looking for a better second half of season than first, By then RS himself will have made a few decisions about who is better where, We have some decent young players, maybe even some stars among them, Some of them will have claimed a place by mid season hopefully, It's a long season, I am quite optimistic.

Could be a couple more in Dickinson and mikey wood get a chance this weekend too! Shame we sent Liam Johnson on a years loan.....

You just know that if there was no injury there that wouldn't have even warranted a look! Well precedent set now- so expect it to get brought up for similar tackles not charged!

yeh can only think taai has got the ban because of an injury sustained by accident

And the way Webster spat his dummy. Yet not one single wakey player raised even an eyebrow!

No complaints with the 1 game it's the way of the world these days that any injury sustained is taken into account firstly with the actual incident secondary, all i've read from Wakey fans is about the injury that has been or could have been caused rather than the actual tackle. That's how it goes these days as it seems if a player gets injured it is automatically labelled foul play.
I guess we would be the same if it was one of ours ....

It doesn't help when coaches as well as fans keep drawing attention to any injury caused rather than what actually happened, they hear the coaches say stuff like "i've got a lad in there with a bust nose" and suddenly demand the culprit is hung, drawn and quartered even if it's innocuous.

Don't think Ukuma went into that tackle meaning to injure the lad, he just hit him in the wrong place with the wrong part of the body, wasn't premeditated or malicious just unlucky for both parties really
