Eorl - signing until 2020 / going to Oz after 2013 / retiring and opening a teashop in Harrogate

The one who criticised a certain coach we once had. Can't think of many, if any, players I've constantly whipped out in the open. Even if I did once do it, I've learned a thing or two about players reading the forum and the effect it's had on some of them so these days I keep most of my criticisms to a small, select group of people, ie I moan in private. I most certainly do not pick on a layer and constantly beat him to death.

I apologise that you caught the wrath of my tongue, but I'm just fed up with the constant berating of players.

As for the rumor of Griffin going, I for one would be sorry to see this happen. Over the last two years he has really raised his game and become our most consistant front rower. Further to this I feel his form is now hitting it's peak of his career.

BH barely ran the ball back - he nearly always passed because he kept getting hammered. I have watched the giants for many many years - the reason they are being so successul now is because they are so much more well drilled - they dont break formation and stick to a plan. I'm not sure why you have such a big downer on this lad but i bet you were jumping up and down and chanting his name on a few occassions when hes pulled us out of the s**t. either support the TEAM or "go away" to another.

I apologise for this outburst. My ire was up and I posted without my usual reflective considerations. I most certainly was not singling cbj out for constantly berating players. There are others who do it far more effectively.

My son plays for newsome and Bruno and Leroy have been to give out medals/ trophies etc- notice Leroy never does the "on stage" stuff like the Monty for eorls testemonial or the pantomime- Leroy is even shy talking to 8 year olds!

We all have players that we like or dislike and players that we consider better players than others. That is only natural. The players themselves will know that there are players in the team who are more skillful than themselves. Some weeks they play better than others, some they don't. But I can't believe any player would go out and not play to the best of their ability. So, I don't think they should be pilloried on a public forum if they don't meet the standards we think they should be meeting. Nathan obviously sees what each player brings to the table and will take steps to correct any shortcomings the players have. Our job is to get behind ANY player deemed suitable to play in Claret and Gold, even our least favourite players, until they are no longer part of the club. Even more so upon learning that the players read these forums. Not very encouraging to read your own fans hate you. We're all one big team. Players, coaches and fans alike. Let's get behind the squad and win something for a change. IMO.

It is always hard to judge an indaviduals performance when there are certain positions in a team that very heavily depend on different combinations. A good no 6 needs a good no 7 to bring out the best in them and vice versa. This is particularly the case with wing and centre partnerships.

Both Leroy and Lawrence are young and have strengths and weaknesses but as a partnership i think they are excellent. If they were to play regularly together i could see them building a great understanding which could endure for 10 years. That is what i would like to see happen with them together.

Let wardle, jerry and Hodgson fight it out for the other two back positions but leave Bruno and Leroy together.

We all have opinions which is fair enough, I have said on here that Bruno needed a rest from 1st team, not because I have owt against the kid but I want the Giants to be the best they can. Bruno had a rest against Catalans and will come back even more determined to do well and better for it. Leroy gets some stick but tbh he has more good games than he does bad ones, same goes for David Hodgson, not sure why he gets the stick he does.

Some Huddersfield fans seem to go over the top with their criticism, I was sat in front of a guy at the Catalans game an when Mason and Griffin had given their penalties away that they did he was going ballistic. Everytime after Griff got the ball he was snarling and spitting out "keep it shut this time Griffin" and same for Mason.

Some of the fans we have are great for the opposition, don't cheer, sit there looking at you in disgust if you singing or chanting, get on our players backs ect ect
