Quote KEITH MASON may not figure in Huddersfield boss Paul Anderson’s plans — but he has had no trouble filling his pre-season.

The Hollywood star has become a huge rugby league fan after forging a firm friendship with Mason.
He is now focusing on the life of gay Welsh star Gareth Thomas after becoming fascinated with the psychology that saw the former Cardiff Blues and Crusaders winger hide his sexuality for so long.
Rourke calls Mason his “best buddy in the UK” and is keen for him to find a new club.
And Wakefield coach Richard Agar could step in as he is known to be a fan of Mason.'" The SUN
It is poor though that the first most fans will find out is when they read the scum rather than the examiner or Giants website although it does not say he has left the club. |

Im going to miss Mason. last season he wasnt his best, but cant blame him with the off field stuff he had going on. he added a lot to our team on his day and when he didnt play we lacked that aggression he would provide. Good luck in hollywood Keith.

Gutted to see him go, one of my favourites, thought he'd have a big season for us this year with a bit more help up front. Don't know the exact reasons for him going, but I'm a tad p*ssed off with the lack of communication from the club, he's been a stalwart and a star in his time here and I for one thank him for his time here wearing the Claret and Gold jersey and playing a large part in what has been the clubs best years on the field since god knows when. Personally I think he deserves much better from the club, just a thank you for your services and best wishes for the future would be a start. Whatever he has/hasn't done shouldn't cloud his great service to the club and to see him leave like this is very sad and doesn't do anyone any good at all. The clubs P R leaves a lot to be desired, we handled the N Brown affair badly and this ain't exactly being handled any better. The clubs silence is deafening.
Good luck and all the best for the future Mase. Hope you're successful in whatever you do and wherever you go.

Depends on how he's left and what he has done. The club might not be able to release information as yet, or possibly, releasing the information may hinder him signing for another club, so the silence might be a goodwill gesture.

Events in Keith's life this year, some possible bad choices friends wise, and extra curriculum activities getting in front of Rugby on the pecking order, I feel I am possibly one of the few who thanks Mason for his good games, but wont miss his non-existent performances

No I agree,if we are going on form from last year versus reputation from previous years,it's fair to say Keith looked like he was ready for a new challenge away from the Giants. |
