york used to play closer to the city but i cant think of the name.

The ground at Huyton [Liverpool - can't remember it's name. We had 2 forms of entertainment their:
- the match;
- local yobs setting a car on fire with the fire brigade turning up moments later!

Roots Hall at Southend to watch us play Southend Invicta

Cannot remeber name of the ground at Gravesend where we played Kent Invivta

McCain Stadium to watch Scarborough Pirates

Perpignan RU Ground for Super League XI

Plus all the others as listed above except the Isle of Man - when did we play there?

well they moved to mclaren field in 1963 or summat so you must be knocking on a bit young man

isnt it the same place the barley mow pub is still there i think

Mclaren Field was built on land adjacent to the Barley Mow i think ,i'm not 100% sure though.

i played for bramley under bamford and i dont know, i know maclaren field was a dump tho

York Wasps played at Clarence street off Wiggington road before they moved out to Rydale Stadium

when was that ? didnt he have like 5 spells there as coach ?

i liked our trips there - ace place to watch RL, cracking bar under the stand and the washing on the line during the game always made me chuckle.

The old Barley Mow ground was right behind the pub (it had a quaint old wooden double decker stand). Then they moved the pitch adjacent to the pub.

Regarding past grounds visited. All those Daz mentioned except:-Crystal Palace, Griffin Park and Copthall Stadium. But I have been to :-

Got a Kent Invicta programme up in the loft which will name the ground, but I`m not going rooting now, but I did go.

That's it. We had lunch in Gravesend before going to Maidstone. Got stuck in traffic and the team had to change on the coach and ran straight out onto the field from the coach. No wonder we got stuffed is it.

Me thinks it was Trafford Borough, went a couple of times there, once when it was called off at very short notice.........

yep Dan it was Trafford Borough who played at Moss Lane , Altrincham from 1989/90 till 1992/3 then reverted to Blackpool Gladiators !!
