Whilst i accept that he is still learning his position he is a very hard worker if you compare him to other back rowers he has a way to go to get to there standard.

He works hard and puts in a lot of tackles but he really needs to be a bit more dominant in the tackle making one on one tackles and really dominating his opponent. ala Westwood / Grix
He also tends to run very direct rather than seeking out the gaps or targetting the smaller man which bearing he was a centre with some good pace is dissappointing. ala Hock or Farrell.

He IMHO needs to be more aggressive and assertive. If you compare him to Cudjoe this year you can see Cudjoe has become more arrogant, confident and aggressive ( he has definitely put a bit of niggle in to his game).He is much better for it.

Bruno needs to follow that lead from Cudjoe.

It may well be that with a year under his belt, more training, time in the Knights squad that will come. Also playing behind 4 big props will help his game.

I am happy with him but think he has got a lot more to give and to really kick on

I think you're absolutely right that he has a lot more to give. The thing people forget about him is that he's only 23 years old. He made his debut so young that it's easy to forget that he's probably five years away from the peak of his game.

think lawrence is one of the first players on the team sheet now, anderson rates him highly and he has improved in attack at the season has gone on, expect more next season and the usual tackling and hard work he puts in.

on us being an attractive club to come too now, i agree, it has been said by a few of the players too we have become an attractive team to join and they are picking us over others

Ivor I wouldn't rise to it, you can only relay information that is given to you as best endeavours, things are changing all the time, and opportunities arise, I don't expect when they do, the first thing RT or anyone else at the club, will be to make a point of ringing you.

Exactly. If someone comes in with a very good offer on one of our players then I'm sure the club would consider it- just like if an agent approached the club with a player at a good price we would consider that.

Impressed by the speed they are announcing the signings! Nothing worse than waiting on rumours! Lads that are leaving are gone and the ones that are coming announced (just about)! Although probably more to do with the strife at London that has enabled us to do this!

Updated with ins and outs, do we reckon that's our lot, or is there still room to squeeze someone else in , would be good if we do go for another to get them in ready for pre-season which I believe is next month, so they benefit from a good sess.

If not I think PA has gone for recruits in the right areas, to strengthen the squad, Broughton adds genuine pace and more options in the backline.

Kaufusi gives us a second line up of power in the prop area, particularly at interchange, and Bailey provides options in the halves, loose.

The one area I was worried about was full back should Grix get injured, but with Connor in the mix, we have options with him and Murph, just wouldn't want that to be something we have to cover long term.

The obviously worry is Brough's position should he get injured I'm not sure we have anyone who can cover the halves, and have a good kicking game that will keep us in the top 4-5.

All in all I'm pleased with the additions.

Baloo has said he is not quite sure what will be Jake Connors' position as yet, I have seen him play at 6 and just maybe he could be the cover for Brough we are looking for.Failing that isn't Bailey looked at as being cover at 6?
