Arrogance does not suit Huddersfield at all

Whenever we play Warrington I am always wary of Lee Briers kicking to the corner on the last tackle for them to score. Today they seem to have found a new ploy - Pass the ball along the line to the winger instead, and then score.

We lost fair and square today. Credit to Warrington. The win at Bradford must have given them a real lift. And so will today's.

I'm a Warrington fan, but I've not come here to gloat. Huddersfield are still a good side, although they were beaten easily today.

I just hope that today's result (and Friday night's) will put paid to the nonsense about our win against Bradford being some sort of stroll. That was a fine result.

If I was Nathan Brown, I'd be looking for more Faiumu and less Scott Moore. Moore gave away a penalty in the first minute and that was pretty much his best contribution all afternoon.

Spot on, though it's not really a good trait in anyone. Giants were dreadful today and were fortunate not to get a bigger hiding. They need to get back to the hard work that got them the plaudits because the defence was not good today.

Credit to Warrington though, until the game was won they made very few mistakes and took their chances well. Briers ran the show and Warrington's half-backs were miles better than Fartown's.

We were pants, and you looked well up for it and deservedly beat us easily, well done.

tbf I've been a bit tongue in cheek on this thread.
Huddersfield are a good side who've probably been playing slightly above themselves up to now. You've got the makings of a very good side and I reckon 2 or 3 top drawer players could really make the difference. I think realistically you need 1 very good prop, a proper stand off and a world class back rower for mine.
I noticed with Warrington today we didnt allow you to get 3 men in a tackle, the speed with which Morley hit the deck sometimes was almost surrendering. After impact our forwards found the ground very quickly on their elbows getting quick play the balls and a lto of space. This I think made a difference, on top of that you couldnt catch anythng out there.

If you didnt lye on every tackle he wouldnt have had to give all them penalties

Let's not get into an argument about lying on eh. We didn't cover ourselves in glory at all yesterday, we were poor and Wire played a simple, efficient game and made very few mistakes. End of story.

Kinda like when we played Hull eh, except Wire werent also garbage.

Bad couple of weeks, one against the reigning champs, one agaisnt a team that should be real contenders.

Next few weeks should see us turn it around and this fortnight will be a memory.
