They will very likely be the Dewsbury Ewe's soon, Looks like they have been stuffed again, ( through no fault of their own ). I'm sad to say with the moves that sound to be afoot for changes in the games structure, I fear Wakey may well be a favorite for replacement, I hope not but i think they are getting close to running out of lives.
Even if they can get New-market off the ground, which looks doubtful, i think it will come far too late for them, A move out of the City could be the end of them as a S league club, That would be a crying shame but they don't look to have many options.

Well done Darnell and Leroy. A couple of errors from these two but a solid defensive effort from Leroy and Darnell stood up wonderfully to fonua (I was a little worried about this match up but needn't have been)
Our short range kicking was woeful - haven't had a decent grubber-er since drewy.

Gutted for the boys, I feel the few cheap penalties deep in their half every time we had some pressure in the 2nd half let us down.

That said, Broughys options on the last were shocking 2nd half, why not try a grubber and get another set??? Cant fault his effort though.

We are going to cause a lot of teams problems in the super 8s.

We will need to win 6/7 to make the top 4 which is un realistic but still a possibility.

Thought defensively we were sound, it was our attack that let us down, we panicked too often and often resorted to just passing it along the line hoping for a gap, couple of times it just needed someone to run a decent line and confuse the defence but it never happened instead it was just a case of put boot to ball and see what happens.

Thought Darnell had his best game for us, he was superb at times in defence, Leroy too, he gets some stick but thought he led by example last night.

Kruise was trying his best to speed things up but no one seemed to want to go with him.

Disappointed as we could have won the game but not too downhearted, great effort by the fans too - put the 11,000 'bookreaders' to shame !!

Not too happy with the stewards bullying a 16 year old either, emails are on their way, although doubt it will be dealt with.

On to the Super 8's now !!
