Well whatever happens we have some tough games coming up in the middle 8s. Our attitude has to change massively. Lost too many games in the final 15 mins when we were ahead, Wigan, Cas, Salford, widnes, KR to name a few. We have the talent to blow teams away- but not the game management - let's hope stone can instil some quickly. We have to go all out in every game and get the best point difference we can. We must NOT finish below third or I fear for what may happen. Oh and let's hope this bad luck that's been following the team all season beggars off!!!!

Spot on Jools. Attitude is everything. Next week's rest should help Stone get his teeth stuck in then every game is a final. We need to be ruthless when we get the chance.

Some of the stuff we've served up this season Newsome Panthers Under 8's would have been embarrassed by it.

Jake Connor running over half the width of the pitch straight into touch at Hull KR is a prime example.

For once I agree with Stevo - simple Rugby League football is what we need.

brierley had his worst game for us yet.

plus side was ormsbys hat trick against his old club

some really soft tries we gave away, we should have taken the lead but instead a poor option and ratchford well full length of the field

The penalty at the end was for a ball steal and it looked to me like the Warrington player lost control of the ball.

So another game lost in the final few minutes. Also wire scored just before half time. Looks like our attitude in that still needs work!

i can see why you'd class that as a positive, but he only had to fall over the line for the first two and did a little work for the third.

i just mean its not like he made an 80 metre break fending off 12 players to go over one handed in the corner.

He clearly wants to make the point that Warrington have not lost a good player, and therefore anything positive he did was merely a fluke, and/or not down to his good play. Come on, we all do it , don't we?

I thought we were the better side, and they scored most of their points of our mistakes or being piggy backed by penalties, although some were stupid, others were just playing to the crowd, the Sims one which led to their winning try was a knock on yet it was given as a steal.
Those things go against you when your at the bottom, however i thought we played some good stuff at times, although yet again, a few brainfarts, but the effort, desire and application was there we just failed to close the game out again.
At 10-0 early on, we've more often than not tended to collapse at Warrington, credit to them for fighting back and making a game of it right until the end.
Warrington fans were relieved after the game and most of them agreed we were the better team, hopefully that will be the kind of performance we can put in ,in the 8's, if we do, we SHOULD be ok!
Credit also to the very few fans who went who got behind the lads and showed their support yet again which was very much appreciated by the boys at the end,

All we need to do is play consistent for 80 mins stop the magic bullets and play a canny kicking game we have the players for it. We need to learn that instead of kicking early our pack is massive so let's make the opposition tackle them which for once we did on Saturday.

Let's not forget we lost cos DB had an off day with his kicking not the first time this season against the team that's finished second in the league it's sad how many games we've lost by very small margins late on.

id say we lost giving away cheap pens on top of other things but to blame it on brough ....

brough did have a monk on for most of the day, stupidly trying to take it out on chris hill who took it in good spirits till he clattered goodstyle late on in the game.

Except that probably didn't happen either.

Well let's work it out. We scored six tries three goals, Warrington scored six tries five goals so it appears that the two extra goals kicked by Kurt Gidley were the 4 pts difference between the teams.

So did Gidleys two goals extra win the match or Broughs missed two goals lose it depends on your point of view.

Of course there were many other factors in the result but in scoreboard terms Danny Broughs missed conversions lost the match.

There have been many occasions when his kicking has won the match but on Saturday it didn't so why is pointing it out a 'daft comment' ??

Would it have been daft had the result been 34-30 to us and I said Danny Broughs kicking won the match as I have said on the many occasions it has ?

Wasn't in attendance sorry loyal peeps,but just from the highlights you could tell from the build up to the Warrington tries,it was the same old drifting sideways 'anticipating' not moving up applying pressure.Looked like WW had time to bring runners on the inside,outside and all the way back around again.

Saying that,we didn't buckle made our own field position work for us.
