Thought he gave a kicking master class

The best thing about Brough was last night was the way he and the players got along, consistantly patting each other on the back and encouraging each other, we always knew he had a great kicking game, but it was his attitude many doubted. On yesterdays showing we have nothing to fear, lets just hope it continues, the next test will be when we are playing poorly to see how he reacts...

Quality performance and a well deserved MOM, although I'd still let Cudjoe kick to touch from penalties.

He will play well against any team when on song.

he is a great player when your team is on top of a game but like many times at wakey he is not one to knuckle down to change a game when the pack is down

Was pretty poor today but not surprising as he was playing behind a beaten pack that was dominated throughout.

cant blame brough today any scrum half would have looked woeful behind our pack in the first half, his mistakes were mostly due to this for me.

I don't think it's just about team selection today. I really, honestly believe that if we'd shown the right desire and attitude we would have won today. We played Saints away last season with more first teamers out and put up a far better show.

Our attitude was off. No urgency, no desire or pepper at all. THAT was the problem. Whether having Brett or Eorl, or Mase, or Fa'alogo, or Gilmour is essentially tinsel. That side playing at 100% would have won. Saying that though you have to credit Salford who played, for them, close to the perfect game.

He did a kick through on the last during the second half. It hit a defender and he stuck the arms out at the ref, wanting the decision. Once he sussed the decision wasn't going our way, he chased back and caught the man. The arms out trick probably cost him 10m.

ATEOTD we never, ever got a foothold in the game. The one time we nearly did, a loose pass went out and it ended up with a try to Salford.

It wasn't about petulance today, it was just general half a4sed. Couldn't complete a set, couldn't stop the offload.

I would probably agree with that. the players thought they did not need to put the effort in . NB said they were trying to play touch footy rather than digging in for a win. Salford showed much more cohesion and work ethic and that secured the win.

Not always. 24-48. He was garbage. Gobbing at Atkins, throwing wild passes etc. Hudds will destroy is on friday even if Broughie is garbage. He can just be put on the bench if so. At Wakey he couldn't really.

But they are the speccies who know how to get inside his head....
