I agree with most of that post, but having only themselves to blame? I'm sure that if it was up to the fans, they'd have a new stadium.

We've got a fair few injuries to key players, we aren't firing on all cylinders yet, previous seasons results and league tables count for nothing and added to that you've had a few good results and a good start to the season, and you are at home.

Thats my reasoning anyway, a cracking tight match and bearing all this in mind, Wakey should be starting as slight favourites but I'm hoping we come home with the bacon, but a rare Wakey win could be on the cards.

Fwiw it might suprise to know that a lot of Wakey fans were gutted when you lost both finals', and I am sure there will be a lot of Wakey fans would be just as proud as you if we are ever lucky or good enough to get there. I am proud we won the two trophies and had an unbeaten league season after relegation. I am not aware of any club doing that for decades. These are facts. Belittle them if you must.

And so you should be proud that your club won two trophies. I merely pointed out that they were won in a lower division and as such were not as prestigious as your post would have us believe. All I am guilty of is trying to put it across to you in a lighthearted way instead of being rude to you. A surprising attitude considering Wakefield had been down there themselves a season or two earlier. And both teams have found decent Super League players like Sam Obst and Shaun Lunt from there in the last 2 or 3 years.

FWIW i think we probably would have won at Hull if Hodgson had been playing . However that would have too much bearing on our game on saturday.

Against Hull Hodgson withdrew on the morning of the game which did not leave much time to alter any attacking plays( defensively we were good at Hull). This time around it was clear that Hodgson would have been missing straight after the Wire game so there has abeen a full week for preparations to take place without Hodgson.

as such there will be new plays with different players involved in some ways that makes it harder for Kear to predict what we will do which may give us an advantage doing something different than Brett comming into the line.

I am looking forward to the game and still think we have the defence to dominate you.

I think it will be relatively low scoring but with the giants to narrowly win.
