Great does that mean I have to queue for ages to pick up tickets cause of all the folk upgrading from the cheap seats.

Huddersfield are a quality side nowadays and what makes it more impressive is that amount of English players you have.
It really is a shame that you are poorly supported and create no atmosphere at all. You have everything in place for a top side just your support lets you down.

That said, there will be an atmosphere today at the game as Hull FC are in town.

We have both played 2 same teams at home this year - Wolves and Vikings. You had around 23400 watching we had 17000 watching. Our wolves game was televised which takes at least 2000 off the gate.

So 11.7k per game versus around 9.5k (adjusted) per game. So if we can get 2200 more fans per game we can go from poor support to mega support....wow!

Unfortunately yes. An alternative could be a turnstile just for those upgrading but it could cause confusion to other pay on the day customers!

Yet you've been on the up since Nathan Brown took over, we had 4 years of below the par rugby with Agar incharge. Before that we we're averaging 14k. Adam Pearson is urging out 3,000 fans to return which stayed away while Agar was incharge.

And of course the fact that Huddersfield is a lot closer to Cheshire/Merseyside than Hull had no effect on the number of away fans at those games.

Hull FC make no secret of the fact that they are disappointed with the current crowd level which is a few thousand down from a couple of seasons ago. I dread to think what your crowds would be if you had to suffer the rubbish served up by our team the last few seasons.

You have a great team there and have enjoyed some level of success. As a result i struggle to understand why you don't get bigger crowds.

The difference for those games was around 2200 per game. that 2200 is our 'poor support' and Hull's marvellous support.



I struggle to understand why so many 'rugby fans' have to prattle on about attendances. They really are pathetic.

While such numpties stare at the crowd - and no doubt their Dads are bigger than ours - I will watch the rugby. HTH

While the attendances don't bother you, they will bother the owner and the clubs income.

is there not one game where we dont talk about or crowd.!!! our crowd is what it is wish it was better but its alot better than 8 year ago. im sure your not coming over here to compare fans its about on the pitch and in the last few season its my understanding that we have finished aboved you for last 3 years.

hull fc have had a good season this year but id say we are there first real big test and with there up coming fixtures against the big clubs shall be interesting to see how they do. i do think they have the quality to challenge for OT through the playoffs but i do not see them in the top 4 come september

We haven't had to put up with rubbish for the last 3 or 4 years ??? no just about 40 years before the last 4 !!
our fan base has had to be built up from a few hundred while winning nothing in the last 20 years.

make sme laugh when fans come on defending there falling crowds against our growing ones...they make it sound like all clubs started on 10,000 .....no club can come near us for the increases we have shown in 20 years so dont make out your club have suffered because of 3 or 4 bad seasons !!!

I for one think it's refreshing to hear of a crowd anticipated at 9 - 10k, wasn't long back that it was 5-6k for the same fixture. Before we moved to the KC our avearge attendance at the Boulevard was 6.5k. well done Hudds and lets hope its a cracking match today, although could be a lot of dropped ball with the rain. FC to win by 4 points.

Great for the game that the top 2 clash is Giants versus Hull and not the usual suspects.

If the hull fan knew anything about our game then they would be well aware that we have had more suffering than any other club. Hull have a poor couple of seasons,we had 30 years of it, while hull and other clubs were top flight clubs competing for silverware we were struggling in the lower divisions not knowing if we would survive from one week to the next, our fan base was down to a few hundred too, in the last 20 years we have built our support from 500 to 7000 so dont try telling us we wouldn'2 cope with what hull fans have had to put up with.

Think the weather will knock a chunk off the travelling support today. If it had been a nice sunny day I'd have expected 2500+
