Yes I thought Larne was very good yesterday, did a lot of hard work both sides of the ball. I thought he and Ukuma Ta'ai really helped give us much more physicality. Mullally did not get many minutes maybe 25, but he did some decent defensive work, think his short minutes were due to Eorl playing so well. Both Mullally and Koppy need to do more going forward though. JJ was enthusiastic when he came on for the last 20 doing plenty both on attack and defence, he is getting good experience and as he bulks up will I think be a good un

more bad news on lunty, he won't play on monday he's done his knee in, he was limping badly during the game and was brought off and will be out for 2-3 games by sounds of it

larne was probably our best forward and put himself about, some good barnstorming runs and some big hits in defence, just what you want from your forwards!

we got the win yesterday which was the most important thing, glad we actually won at salford too!

after blitzing them 18-0 they were always going to struggle to come back, but we actually let them back in the game!!!

if they had not missed so many goal attempts it could of been a much closer game.

we werent great, had good patches and bad patches, like i say though got the win.

crabtree was immense in his first stint and laid the platform.

we scored a cracking try when lunt chipped over to collect then passed to grix for him to kick through to brough i think.



Grix also made another try where he came into the line, abit like brett hodgson used to do, unfortunately we see this once in a blue moon.

Mullally did nothing special, his knock on led to the salford come back when 18-0 up too.

Taai provided a massive spark off the bench, some top runs from him - he likes the sun on his back! took a knock though so may miss monday.

im starting to get concered with mcgillvarys defence, thought he could of done better at hull fc last week for one try and again yesterday meli in for a hat trick where jerry could of prob done better.... murphy gets a hat trick! how this guy can be dropped again ill never know, if anything it should be jerry dropped for him now.

wardle put some big runs in down their right said and caused damage.

wood was exposed a few times by chase and hock but those two players can do that to anyone.

patrick was brilliant for his comeback game, looks like he can make a real good 2nd rower!

Koukash tweeted Johnson having surgery and McPherson concussed and is still being assessed- most bizarre injury I've ever seen but it certainly looked bad - hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Larne was really annoyed to be taken off after 77 minutes!

In what way was Wood exposed by Hock and Chase. He made 20 plus tackles and zero misses so it appears they targeted the wrong man.

thought the funniest thing about friday was longy forgetting the water bottles and having to run all the way back to pick them up in front of the giants fans who sang you don't know what your doing- longy's face kinda agreed with us

these two players can do that to any team though. lucky we had cudjoe there.. having said that meli got a hat trick...mcgillvary abit exposed at times.

Hock is a complete waste of space who goes missing when the going gets tough. The fact he made only three tackles all game on Friday tells you everything you nned to know.
