It is of course possible that the players shirts will be ready before the season starts, prior to the replicas going on sale. Not particularly good business sense, but doesn't break any RFL rules.

Could make business sense. Get folk to buy the home shirts - then when the alternative comes out folk will want one of those too - and they will possibly have a bit more spare cash.

Robbo is wearing an interesting hat in todays examiner, colours seem to tie in with the rumours of Alternate shirt.

That hat is on sale in the club shop.

Seen quite a few of the players wearing them and never thought about it being the alternative shirt colours. I think you may have something there!!

If they are the colours the proportion of how they are shared out will be important.

It could look OK but has the possibility of being hideous. They are hard colours to match.

Those I the colours I see on the hat and the rumour I heard although that was only on this forum.

that hat has been worn by mullally months ago... thought it was abit strange that they were wearing this hat as it had nothing to do with giants colour wise... though as pointed out it is in the shops..

Colours on the hat were purple, orange and yellow! We find out today I believe.

I'd say these are pretty much the colours near to the beanies the players are wearing. Rumours are they have lightening bolts on which sound a bit wild. If they are these colours I wouldn't have minded a design like this.

It's good to see the club has got all fans discussing the shirt before it has even been released.

Not a bad thing really, and as the home shirt was released in good time I for one don't see a problem with them holding back/building interest. Similarly the rumours have it as a non-traditional design, one that quite frankly wouldn't be to my taste, however they grey with splats last season seemed to sell well, with a fairly traditional and recognisably Huddersfield home kit a more daring alternative helps cater for all tastes.

Don't expect to like the alternative if its close to the rumours, but I may well agree with the choice if you can follow my warped logic!

I loved last season's alternate shirt, I'm hoping 2013's is going to be of a similar ilk!

If as many buy it as discuss it they`ll be happier still I would presume !
