Most definitely.Every club in Super league needs the money that the Bulls supporters bring through the turnstyles.2,500 spectators came through the gate at £20 a time at our home game with the Bulls this is £50,000, can any club afford to lose this much money?( I am aware that part of the gate was donated to the Bulls).Neither the Broncos nor the Dragons bring any revenue to any of the clubs so why kill off one of the best supported teams?

normally they bring less than 500 so it was a one off!

anyway they will stay in super league..cant see them being swapped in favour of fev, fax or leigh

We played our fixtures like the Bulls but had to apply for a license for this season ans got one, the Bulls newco appears to be having to do the same.

Its not a case of 'killing off' - they have done wrong, mismanaged finances, left people with money owed etc etc and any other company in any other business would have been liquidated a long time ago - why should the RFL world bend over backwards to make sure this club are still around and in SL ? rules are rules and they broke them, i couldnt care less if they bring 50,000 fans and buy everything in sight at every ground they go to its the principle that matters to me not the history or status of club !!

No i dont think they should,regardless of their history or support base they should be made an example of not treated like some sort of saviour for our game,they have done wrong and should be made to start at the bottom.
Oldham used to have a big support 20 years ago and a guaranteed bumper crowd when they played away but they had to go bust and start again so why not bradford?

Make them merge with Catalans. That way we keep stheir fan base and Catalans bring more to their away games. Everybody wins Bulls fans keep a team in super league and all the other teams get their money.

Yes they should play in SL as they add alot to the league, the game is struggling enough, so the extra revenue it brings is welcome.

Most of us really appreciate the help and support we have received this year and tbh if we'd have gone down I wouldn't have complained. We just wanted a decision one way or another.

The real anger on the RAB board is not focussed towards those who think we don't deserve our place in super league but rather those who wished to see us fold as a club. I'm sure most of you will agree that nobody wants to see any club fold.

I have immense sympathy with the GENUINE Bradford Northern fans & their plight.

Thank you, I am glad this is now resolved, at the end of the day the Bulls are one of the biggest clubs and I am glad we can move on and try develop the business. Thank you to all the fans of other clubs' support. Eamon McManus was correct in his statement.

wouldn't want to see any team fold but what I would want is a level playing field and the same rules for every single club.

The RFL have shown their true colours in all this and confirmed what some fans have suspected for years.

Certain teams are treated differently to other teams and that's just not fair!!!

Why shouldn't teams who desperately want to win things now do a Bradford, spend money they dont have, break the salary cap and say sod off to the creditors cos they know the RFL will bail em out.

the test will come now when another club less lauded than bradford should suffer the same fate,will that club be hailed as national heroes and afforded the same luxuries the seemingly doomed bulls were?
makes an absolute farce out of the licensing system,in effect now any club can seemingly go and the chase the dream and the wider RL public will foot the bill for it,or is that just if for clubs who are prestige and have a big fan base?

I agree completely, but it's been like this for years now. The RFL just seem to make it up, there has been a few instances.

Wakefield have been saved twice, first time no points deduction and second time they only got 4pts deducted.

Crusaders got 4pt deduction for essentially the same as Bradford (and we got 6pt deduction).

Hull FC and Giants got brand new teams and £1m when they merged with Gateshead and Sheffield respectively, and within months there were teams reformed in both Gateshead and Sheffield.

Some salary cap breaches have resulted in points deductions and some haven't.

For me the RFL need to decide what the rules are and stick to them... for every team!!!
