Out of interest what is everybodies opinion on Jamie Simpson (apart from Charlie, I know you don't rate him from previous performances in Aus!)? Personally I think he has been playing well, haven't seen him do anything outrageous yet nor have I seen him miss a tackle which would have won us a game etc etc however a couple of the blokes who sit round about me spent the entire game slagging him off today - every time he got the ball they gave him a barrage of abuse and were shouting for NB to send him back....have I missed something or do these people not watch the same game I do?

I think its ridiculous, we all support Huddersfield which includes all the players who put on that shirt. Why do some people think its okay to put the lads down when they are out there doing a job? Possibly a little rant but I just don't understand it!!

The whole purpose of a forum on Rugby League is to discuss things related to the game. Just because a player plays for a team you support doesn't mean you have to worship the ground he walks on.

That said, thus far I'm not convinced he has been anything other than someone taking up a quota place. But who knows, he might end being the superstar he was supposed to be - Hopefully he will.

vs wakey the pass thrown to him was forward

Simpson looks ok of what we have seen of him and will fit in well, as for someone who previously said Bruno hasn't done much this season (no I don't dislike him!!!), I think his performance today was very good, scored 2 tries that took some scoring and ran hard and looked up for it today, hope he can back it up now week on week

I was impressed with Horne and Lawrence today.

Horne runs some good angles is that 4 or 5 tries this season. Defensively he is very good as well. There was one crunching tackle on Korkidas that stopped him in his tracks.

Both have had their critics recently and both answered them well.

Jury still out on Horne for me but he scored 5 tries and Nathan keeps picking him so must be doing something right!!!
Bruno wasn't playing well IMO upto now but today thought he was very good, scored 2 tries which took some scoring and looked up for it. Hope this is the start of his season. Massive well done today Bruno

Cant say simpson has done anything to impress me yet ....although time will tell.

Don't matter what team we put out so long as we keep winning. Simpson was part of the team that won so I have no complaints.

its not that i dont rate him ,its more a case of i was just giving you all his stats etc from last 2 years.. the problem with a lot of english fans( myself included in the past)is that they expecta genios because he has played nrl..

I thought he went ok, no mistakes in what was otherwise an awful game, 2nd half picked up a bit.

i know the bloke is a troll, but from the photos i have seen wakey brought a good 1000 at least, maybe 1500 and with a crowd of 7200? that is not a lot of our fans to say we are going great this year.
we are playing the best footy most of us have seen hudds play for decades .. we deserve better crowds
