Thought the final scoreline slightly flattered you, but you did just edge it with being more clinical in the final third. Thought we bombed two or three really good chances at crucial times which could have made a difference to the outcome of the game.

Thought Bentham was awful overall, seemingly giving everything against us in the first twenty minutes of the game, then turning the tables in the first twenty minutes of the second half and giving us everything, pathetic overall though and totally clueless at times.

Thought the battle in the forwards was great to watch, some monster hits going in from both sides, Ferguson on Mason for us was an absolute bone-cruncher! Thought Eorl was a real menace for you and caused us problems, but another great hit from Latu seemed to take a bit out of him and he did make a couple of mistakes after.

The Sulthorpe/Korki thing is a funny one. It seems all parties are happier with what they've got now, totally different players but as I say both seem to be right for who they are now playing for.

I agree, your guys gave everything and didn't deserve to have such a scoreline. It was a close hard game in hot conditions. Both sets of players served up some quality rugby and your right there were some big hits going in.

Superb performance again by the Giants pack, Mason was just brilliant.

Foomy ran the show when he was on, much better hooker than Moore, crisper passer and smarter at the ruck, and a wicked sidestep.

Bret Hodgson keeps theoring shocking passes to no one that costs us scores, but coming from deep he is brilliant, go figure.

Robbo and Fulton seemed to be gelling a bit more, nice kick through for Fultons try.

Never in doubt, I just wish we would stop wasting so many chances!

While we can moan at the ref on reflection he didn't too us too badly. Petersen looked to have scored or at least Leroy touch it down first but he gave a knock on. He consulted his TJs twice for stuff. He cannot be blamed for the lineo missing the fullback standing that far in touch he was in the third row.

That hit from Mason in the first 5 minutes was class. Was it on Tony Martin? He ran at a couple of times after that and walked all over him.

We all know Jacko has the skills to pay the bills.

Apart from not pinging Wakey offside for the last 30 minutes [after his last call against us, I thought Bentham was quite neutral and even-handed, ie poor game.

He made some completely mind bending decisions.

And the touchy who completely ignored the wakey winger putting a foot in touch after Robbos attempted 40/20

Because when Faiumu was on, he ran the game, when he was off, Wakey came back into it.

When Mason was on we had some umpth.

Agree with the +ve comments about our players.

Hodgo's goal kicking was excellent.

The spotting of the wakey pivots/halves was excellent - how many times did Mason run an arc and force Brough to make a tackle? We appeared fitter and played with a better defensive structure.

If Wakey can keep it together they will deffo make the 8 and could well be top 6.

A sound effort with 4 1st 17 players missing.

Was in the pub post-match and a Wakey fam was of the opinion that Brough's performance today was all he needed to think he would be wearing our colours next season.

He can play well or poor, there's usually no inbetween. but today, he didn't want to know. His words.

That big hit he put in in the first was to make up for the error he made. And no penalties, which was his achilles heel.

I personally rate Mason as the best 'unknown' player in SL.
