We have beaten Catalan in France and Bradford at Bradford so I cannot see a problem with us walking over Castleford in Cas.

the wins we have had whilst enjoyble have been against a very poor Salford side, an out of sorts Wigan team, and a Catalans side still not firing on all cylinders....... dont get me wrong the games needed winning and the team have done exactly that....but we have to keep our feet on the ground

Confidence is high .... but our record against Hudds is not a good one and you do appear to be taking over the hoodoo mantle from Wakey.

I am really looking forward to this game just to see exactly where we are ... a close win or loss and I will think we have a real chance of top eight this season .....

With my serious hat on I would have to agree with you. It's going to be close - alot closer than people think. Castleford should have the edge being at home but our boys are smarting from a poor performance and no doubt will have a fly in the ear from Brown.

Will it be the Cas lads wanting to turn around that preseason defeat that will make the difference? I wouldn't say so but I think the first 20 minutes could decide this game - one team getting a a few sets of six over the other and I think it will be game over.

Korky is a back up player. Never intended as a first 17 starter. He is 5th (6th if Raleigh is comsidered at prop) in a team that sometimes goes with 3 props and an extra backrower on the bench.

This is why the fans of other clubs who assumed we signed korki as a regular starter for the Giants are so clueless.

Never said he was a first choice player, mate. Just proving boydy right in the we didn't have a full pack missing. We had 5 out of 6 missing. Korky is a prop and was missing.

i think ivor's point wasn't necessarily our 1st choice pack were out, more of a case of we almost had a whole pack's worth of players unavailable - and he was pointing out that we were only 1 man short of been a whole pack worth out injured !

If you are including players like Korki, who was not picked rather than being injured, then you have a full pack - putting Carlile at hooker and Faiumu into the back row.If you are looking at players who would most likely be in a starting 17 then Korki and Carlile are out. HTH

But Korki was fit and available. He was simply not selected.
