Of course finishing bottom gives us the toughest draw for a SL side and fair enough, but it is worrying, very worrying.

This teams quite good enough to avoid the drop if they just play smart and stop the 'magic bullet' stuff.

best chance of winning away against fellow sl teams is the hull kr game i feel , shoul have won there recently , had the game in the bag (again) .. really need to get that winning mentality and how to close games out...

problem is we are coming up against teams that know how to do that, ok at a lower level but the pressure will be high and we may crumble like in the past in big games.

its going to be an interesting finish to the season for sure!!!

Leigh were 34-8 up too! Sowatd and worthington sent off for fighting and London scored three after that. Get em rattled and it looks like Leigh crumble!

Leigh are nowhere near as good as they think they are. They rely on being able to bully their part time opponents into submission. When they get it back they really don't like it and are ripe for the taking. Get Mickey Higham riled up, the bloke is an absolute looney and behaves like a petulant toddler.

There was no giving or 'getting it back' yesterday. The incident between Soward and Worthington was an isolated one. There hadn't been anything like that all day - although Soward never stopped yapping at Ben Thaler from the off. He appeared to attack Worthington from behind and Worthington took exception to it. (perhaps his Featherstone upbringing?

) Apart from one game this season - at Swinton - our performances have been disciplined. (from the viewpoint of no brawling) Our current coach is much stronger on discipline than his predecessor. He is also very realistic and accepts that we would have to improve considerably to even get near a SL team.

As for 'bullying part time opponents into submission', well our game this season is based on trying to get forward domination. Isn't that every team's aim though? I very much suspect that, next Saturday, we will be coming up against a team who will very probably do that to us.

With all due respect to the championship our next 3 fixtures have got to be W's.

In contrast HKR next 3 ,away to Leeds,then away at Salford. Followed by Leyth at home.

Happy we get to play Leeds at ours on the penultimate weekend,by which time they could have nothing to play for.

Salford bit unlucky,not sure what score was at time but that M.Masila effort was a 'dead set' try as they say.Should have sent it up try and let the VR chalk it off if necessary.

Nowt against Salford RL,but after yesterday's result just for our own benefit I'm wanting HKR & Leeds to beat them now in next two rounds.Could do with Leeds winning all their games before they come to ours which would put them on 10 points and almost guaranteed to finish in top 3.

Of course this is assuming we can take care of business against Feath,Batley & London in next 3 weeks.
