people on the bench are just as good as those who start and they come on later to give an impact to a game say eorl he comes on when defence is a little tired and charges into them normally knocking someone over and offloading

What's to explain, there are exceptions, You want to know why there are exceptions? Well occasionally players coming back from injury may be started on the bench, alternatively they may be rested after starting large numbers of games previously.

It's clearly obvious that clubs choose to start their best players, the evidence is overwhelmingly in my favour on this one.

I suggest you see sence and do one before I own you like I have owned your two little rat mates all this evening.

There's things called reserve games for this kind of thing and as for starting them on the bench to be rested

Yeah I do remember Medley, another one that couldn't hold down a starting spot at the clubs he was at because he wasn't good enough to. However he was a good substitute and he was content with that, where as Gilly wasn't content and he wanted to start.

Unfortunatley he wasn't good enough to, and that's why he didn't.

Times have changed from Jeff Grayshons era, it's now a squad game and has been for a very long time, teams now use players as impact players to come off the bench, 2 that spring to mind are Eorl at the Giants and Feka Paleasina at Wigan, prob the best props at their respective clubs.
