I wouldn't if I were you. Much as I wanted you to lose for the simple reason that I want the bottom four sorted as quick as possible I thought you played some fantastic expansive RL. Saints are not what they used to be but still take some beating. Some of your outside play was brilliant to watch, sure it was clearly your day and everything came off but great all the same. It was particularily ironic against Saints for whom that kind of thing used to be the norm.

SL really has evened up a lot.

7ou could always walk 10 minutes to town and there is loads to do. Museums art galleries castles hadrians wall etc.

The fans zone at the ethics is there because te ground is on a industrial zone with nothing else to do.THE ONLY PLACE WORSE THAN TE ETIHAD WAS MURRAYFIELD

The point of going is to watch the rugby, I'm not here for a sightseeing trip. My kids want to go to the fans zone between games - well they did but in their words at Newcastle "there's no point it's just rubbish" and remember that's the bit that "outsiders" see.

Having watched the replay,the first thing that sprung to mind was that this game appeared to be a role reversal of StH vs Fartown games of the mid to late noughties,when Long would be firing out passes to the likes of Lyon,Albert,Talau etc. and these type of speedsters would destroy us on the edges.Then Long would kick us back to near our in goal and our honest toilers would just to trundle it down the middle hoping for some sort of break.On this occasion it was our guys causing the problems on the edges,and Brough with the deep kicks.

Had a bit of luck with the Brough forward pass and the Jake kick,though that Connor try came off the back of some good structure.

Still a few errors mixed in on our part,yet none of our players could have been accused of putting in an iffy performance in this one imo.

agree about the fan zone being pants, didnt even bother with it this year as was not much last year

as for the game, when i saw our backs v saints backs i was confident if we beat them in the forwards we would hammer them in the backs, not many can compete with cudjoe and mcgillvary if we lay the platform

The left edge wasn't too shabby on Sunday neither,obviously not as naturally gifted as the right side,but efficient,which is what we really need from them.

Our centres were our best players I thought. Both Connor and cudjoe looked dangerous.

Cudjoe & McGillvary have got to be two of the greatest players ever to be produced from Huddersfield rugby league.

you was correct in your column ivor about the giants fans being spread out all over the ground, we dont like to sit together do we or maybe its just the age demographic of our fanbase.

also that the club/hgsa didnt help get a section together, one time they did at etihad the other year and it worked, should have learned the lesson

One reason we don`t all sit together is that we go for different price options. Personally I prefer to sit side-on rather than behind the sticks.
Also we got in before the start of the games on Sunday, and if other Giants supporters come in at different times, other clubs supporters fill up the vacant spaces.
We were side on upper tier unreserved and we could have got 2000 Giants fans around us to start with, but it filled up round about the begining of our game with various supporters from various clubs, and even 3 unattached Geordies.
I think the answer is to mail shot all Giants supporters as soon as portions of the ground are apportioned to clubs. But some might want to go for reserved seats, but my advice would be to go for unreserved, because if you go early enough just before the start of the games, there is loads of space, you can always go out and come back in again and if the bulk of the space is taken up with our fans, others would probably not bother sitting there, and you could come back in to your seats when you want and they would most likely be vacant when you come back. If not you will still be able to sit near the bulk of the Giants fans.
Wigan, Saints, Hull, and Warrington fans seem to manage it ok.

neither is it just hudds who's fans don't sit together- it's just other teams bring more....

I was impressed by our support, we had loads walking about the town, and inside the stadium there were plenty, (although we were all over the place). The only stand I didn`t any in was the end stand where the Saints were, and they didn`t bring as many as usual (glory supporters).

Part of the problem is people seemed to think they were ltd to where they came in they had to sit.

I came in at gate 33 in the leases end and just walked straight around and sat in the middle behind the Giants cheerleaders.

This was not meant to be a comparison test,as in these two are THE best players ever to come out of this town.

As for Newcastle - good,much like Cardiff,stadium a stones throw from city centre.

We should all move to the east stand if it happens again in 2017,all gather in a particular area.Leave behind sticks to well supported clubs.

If everyone goes in the east stand they would have to get in early- can't see that happening. The east stand is also more expensive ticket wise.

I prefer side on so will always be down the side given the choice.

Only time I chose the end was to admire David Faiumu's side step!
