Thought he was outstanding again today and proved last week was not a one game wonder for him. He's exciting and has the quality to go with it....to me the full back place should be his to lose now regardless of how fit or experienced Grix is !!

very impressive in every aspect of his game, he looks assured, calm and like has been alluded to, didn't dither in attack, either took it up himself or looked to get his wingers away,
he read the game pretty well and organised some strong goal line defence.

whether it's a risk to play him on the ipitch i don't know but what i do know is that Grix will be a very lucky to man to win his spot back!

I think we are watching Dannys' successor at stand off half.

I've been moaning about the lack of youngsters given a chance. Now they have and its paying off.

This might not last forever but I wouldn't expect it to.

Watching the legends walking around the pitch yesterday gave me a great sense of pride. Some true legends in the group.

A lot of them were Huddersfield lads as well.

Jared played very well. Connor showed some real passion and fire in his belly. Got stuck in when it got rough. I love to see this. I don't mean starting fights but standing up for himself and his team mates.

And I thought Leemibgs distribution of the ball was perfect. He did the basics spot on. When he passed from dummy half the ball was going direct to the bread basket. Some of robbos were all over the place. Players having to catch it above their heads etc.
We Seemed more composed with leeming on the field. We seemed more patient.

I hope we stick with these lads.

Simpson reminded me of sam tomkins when he did that huge side step back across the line and put the high kick in from what connor scored from, must have some big feet!

the way he walks to reminds me of brett hodgson wth his elbows out and stature!

Fully agree with this. Robbo for all his scooting and courage in defence throws out some terrible passes. Danny had to catch one spinning end over end and a foot above his head with the Wire defence in his face. Leeming can pass off the ground Cunningham like and torpedoes it straight into the bread basket as you say. We seemed more composed because he fired the ball out quickly AND accurately.
His defence stood up as well so he's looking good for a continued run in the side IMO.

But perhaps alongside him, Brough has a lot of games ahead of him.

I completely agree & he will only get better.. that being said we need to make use of all the players where needed but that boy is working for his spot without a doubt he will be played at Widnes!!!!

Robinsons distribution is not great and I agree that Leeming is generally much sharper in this area but yesterday he seemed to throw some poor passes.

I was thinking the same or even s/h.

He will put a bit more weight on and get stronger as he gets more game time, The best sides of his game will come through and then who knows. I agree with Jools that we have wanted a fullback for some time, but we have wanted a Halfback for a decade. There have been players who have been equally good in more than one position, Granted they have been really class players, but who's to say he can't be one of them.

He does appear to have the long ground eating stride reminiscent of Tomkins, who wasn't the biggest of lads either when he hit the first team.
