Don't think its fair to blame LOD. He is not behind the Aussie reports, which although from the Roosters do state that a few things would have to happen for that signing to come about.

On face value LOD's comments were no more than a polite "not aware of that, not ruling anything out". Meantime he has got on and played and too a pretty high standard. That is a world removed from the Nathan Brown shenanigans.

Problem is the salary cap in Oz has gone up, the exchange rate means the £ is not as strong as the $ a few years ago, and the competition over their is much better.

Can't blame him for wanting more $$'s and if he wants to leave, he can go as long as we get a nice bit of compensation which allows us to bring in another player or 2, as he would be taking up a big chunk of our salary cap.

Probably not, they cannot sign him without offloading players due to cap, we don't want the cast-offs. Luke has been kept in the loop and is behaving responsibly, unlike recent Australian employees. Reading between the lines of the latest statement from RT and LOD & Baloo's comments after saturday's match it appears this enquiry was a little while back (before christmas according to what LOD said).

Appears the Roosters are being a bit naughty, but I for one am taking RT's statement at face value, story over.

Richards statement is exactly what I asked for. Rumour quashed and lets move on from it. If Roosters want him then make us an offer too good to refuse. Otherwise LOD is gonna give us fans some value for money.

Absolutely agree with you Julie. Nipped in the bud, all the info has been shared to us, yes there was contact but it is done with unless they break the bank.

I think this lot running on the fringes excites me the most. Keep Crabtree, Kopczak, Fielden, Mullally fit and punching holes up the middle then our back row can do serious damage. Add Patrick, Lawrence, Ferguson, Faiumu into the mix and we could see some serious fireworks.

Just one aspect of play that concerned me,(not the interchange players) but will keep that opinion to myself following such a great victory.

Why keep it to yourself sheepridge? We played well but we were far from perfect- as the players and coach themselves have acknowledged. Where were your concerns? This site is all about discussions of people's opinions.
Personally I thought jerry who had a great game in attack still looked shaky defensively and that could be an area other teams exploit.

Oh go on then joolio,just seeing as you asked.Concerns still about when Grix joins the line on attack,he seems to pick the wrong angle for whatever reason,or is a bit too far behind play.There was one occasion when the ball went out and Robinson was looking for him but he just couldn't give him it.

Not scapegoating Grix,think he's a lot going for him in most other aspects,just that we won't run over packs like we did last week on every occasion,and a fb joining the line is so vital to 3:5 plays,because that's how the best teams score their tries,Hodgson at Warrington with his cut out pass,need I say more.

I tend to agree about our wingers missing vital tackles when they come up and in,but hoping they fixed that after last season.Maybe they should get some advice on ball n'allers from their 'bro' Leroy.

Mmm don't recall that occasion, will have another watch- I suppose it depends also as to whether he was expecting a particular set play. One thing grix is usually good at is the back up play. I also noticed that grix was particularly annoyed that saints scored their try so perhaps he felt he made a mistake in his positioning.

Whenever a player makes a break just watch to see who is the player backing him up.

When Broughy went off, not only did Grix do his stint at FB, he was the other half back. We still managed to score nigh on 20 with that combination.
