I am absolutely fuming about today and it is made worse by some fans, the players and the coach with their constant platitudes about
" it is not acceptable we will put it right"
"the players have to put their hands up and be counted"
" we wil be fit and prepared for going into the buisness end of the season"
" it was a bad day at the office but we will work hard in training to put it right".

The last few weeks have been rubbish.

IF Nathan Brown has given up on the grand final and the league and is just concentrating on the Challenge Cup he should tell the fans so we do not waste our money watching that garbage,

Shocking today absolute garbage, to sum it up:-

Huddersfield today like at Wire and Wigan were out enthused, the Bulls hit us hard and we didn't hit them as hard, the Bulls ran hard and the Giants didn't. The Bulls put some plays on with ball in hand the Giants didn't.

We are currently in reverse and getting worse with each game, the toughest defence last season had now become the softest.

Every team in SL and quite a few in the Championship would have beaten us well today on that performance.

Not sure what going on in NB head but Bruno in the 2nd row? Carry on like this and season over and yet another with nowt to show for it.

Today will do 1 of 2 things, it will make the season or break the season, I to be honest am not confident we can kick on and put things right.

Leroy cannot tackle and will be playing on the wing in defence and centre when we attack



I made a mistake putting a half fit scrum half with a powder puff tackling centre which was exploited by a coach who out thought me today.

I should not have played a lightweight centre at second row against a big pack in wet conditions.

I have rotated lots of players but should have played Andy Raleigh instead of one of my other second rows. He is a Huddersfield lad and may have some pride in the shirt.

I should not have given permission for my top aggressive prop to have 4 days partying in America to come back jetlagged and make an average of 5 metres per hit up.

My tactic of getting the backs to carry the ball back constantly backfired. I made a mistake in doing this when on our first set of 6 we lost 5 metres when leroy , jerry and hodgson ran it back.

I will tell the players to stop running back into the markers in wet weather as it often leads to dropped balls.

I admit i did not learn the lessons from playing at Wakefield.

My overseeing of the fitness and conditioning regime seems to have backfired as the players energy levels are gone.

I will not play Robbo for 80 minutes every game as he looks knackered and seems to have lost his spark. I apologise if i burn him out so he loses his place in the 4 nations squad.

I realise constantly being linked with every job in Australia looks like i am desperate to leave.

I am sorry if i have given the impression that the CC is the only important competition i think we can win.

We're all sick of the we'll put it right next week syndrome. There are some deep rooted problems in the club at the moment.
No professional player would stump up the performances we have seen recently if he had one ounce of pride in himself, his job, the Giants, the fans or Ken Davy.
Keep up this level of performance and you can kiss goodbye to seeing any further wins this season.

Yep think that just about sums it up. But what will be in the examiner is:- the players are disappointed with themselves, we know they can do better, we will work hard in training this week to put things right.

You needed to see it to believe it Charlie. I would love to see the stats for the game we were just beaten on everything. We only created TWO scoring chances all game

i personally think we are getting a big over reaction from this result, yes we were shocking and most of the points about todays game are valid but to suggest because weve had a few poor performances and results are the end of the season is imo laughable, also ive not heard any evidence of behind the scenes issues, bad month at the office accept it for a dip in form and move on to next week.
